Converter station is one of the important link of DC transmission system, The main equipment in the converter station for converter transformer include converter transformer,AC filter,DC filter and Reactive power compensation device,Converter station is related to the transmission of power quality and the safety of the transmission system stability, to carry out the related research is of great significance.This topic is based on independent research and development of inductive filtering technology in our country, the inductive filtering technology in the application of DC transmission system to carry out the related research work.Firstly this paper introduces the development background and current situation of the development of DC transmission,According to the characteristics of the DC transmission specific analyzes the advantages of HVDC and the problems at present.Analyses the characteristics of the principle of traditional filtering method and its shortcomings,simply introduces the advantage of inductive filtering technology,lay the foundation for the subsequent specific analysis.The second,according to the structure characteristics of inductive filtering device,the connection mode are analyzed in detail,the filter principle,and on this basis,concrete analysis of sensing the selection of the filter unit ac and dc filters.Design the distribution of the reactive power compensation scheme and worked out the filter parameters according to actual engineering experience.The last,based on the foregoing analysis and the actual operation of power transmission project data,this paper respectively establishes the traditional and the new UHVDC transmission analogue system’s simulation model based on the new converter transformer with its inductive filtering equipment via Matlab/Simulink,biggest difference lies in the converter transformer winding connection and the filtering device connection point.The result shows that new inductive filtering technology of HVDC system than traditional HVDC system the filtering effect is better,current distortion rate is smaller,can effectively improve the net side current waveform, the harmonic suppression in the converter transformer value side.
