The rapid development and popularity of the mobile Internet provide the transformation of university library with power and support.Later the service of mobile reading emerges.In order to satisfy users’ personalized mobile reading requirements and enrich the library disciplinary constructions, this essay elaborates contents, patterns,significances, and services endpoints of the service of mobile reading in university library.On the basis of that,essay conducts the research by selecting a part of the representative college teachers and students doing questionnaire survey, analyzes and discusses users’ behavior characteristics and reading requirements in university library.Also,it summarizes the Status and problems of the mobile reading service in university library at this stage.This essay conducts research by means of document research, comparative analysis,questionnaire survey, case interview, simulated experience and some other methods,combines research status and development results at home and abroad, and proposes the solution of developing mobile reading service of university library from attaching great importance to service extension, improve the mobile reading technology of university library, enriching the reading service content of university library, and establishing a intelligent and personalized pattern of library mobile reading service.Finally, this essay draws conclusions from four levels : mobile reading service is an important part of library services; user-centric service is a important work of mobile service of university library; our country’s mobile service of university Library is still at the start time; and we should pursue efforts to build better mobile reading service.
