ObjectiveTo screen differentially sxpressed genes of liver tissue in septicby DNA micoarrays.MethodsFourty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into model group andshame operation group with20rats in each group.Cecal ligation andpuncture(CLP)was used to detect the change in gene expression patternof rat liver tissue24hours after CLP,then differentially expressed genes(Ratio mean>2or Ratio mean<0.5)that high correlated to sepsis werescreened, and the functions of these genes were analyzed by means ofrelated computer software.ResultsCompared to the shame operation group, gene expression of285genesin rat sepsis model were changed, accounting for1.26%.There are180known-genes with93genes expression up-regulated and87genes expressiondown-regulated. They are invove to a series of gene differentialexpressions such as cell growth and control related genes, energy metabolism related genes, sign conduction、immune、acutestress reaction related genes etc. ConclusionMultiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) induced by sepsisresulted by a series of genes expressions.Gene microarray technique canbe used to comprehensively study gene expression profile of liver tissuein rat sepsis model,in order to find new research objectives and therapystrategies for sepsis.
