PWV On Cardiovascular Remodeling In Patients With Metabolic Syndrome Prediction Research

Abstract Objective: To investigate the relationship between metabolicsyndrome PWV and Cardiovascular remodeling.Methods:120cases which diagnosed by biochemical examination andEliminated metabolic syndrome patients were divided into observed andthe control groups with60cases in each group. Fasting glucose, insulinlevels and blood fats of these patients were measured, and recorded therisk factors of metabolic syndrome,such as body massindex,hypertension, diabetes and etc. PWV value were measured byJapanese colin company VP-1000arteriosclerosis automatic measuringinstrument, extracranial carotid artery intima thickness and cardiac colorultrasound were tested by Color Doppler ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus,analyzed the correlation of PWV and Cardiovascular remodeling ofmetabolic syndrome patients.Results: PWV, intima-media thickness and left ventricular weight index(BMI) of Metabolic syndrome group were significantly higher than thatof the control group (P <0.05),and PWV has a significant positivecorrelation with intima-media thickness and left ventricular weight index（P＜0.05）. Conclusion: PWV has a close correlation with Cardiovascularremodeling, and it is a early prediction index of cardiovascularremodeling for metabolic syndrome patients.
