Objective:To prepare the chitosan/polylactic acid/hydroxyapatite integratedscaffolds using solvent-castiing/solt-leaching method, pushpin-like,explore theirapplication in articular cartilage tissue engineering. Methods: Using X-ray diffraction, infrared spectrum, scanning electronmicroscopy, compressive strength and blending strength were adopted to characterizeand analyze the scaffolds. Results:The scaffolds,pushpin-like,are white solid, which have different part ofcartilage and subchondral bone. They have a good porosity and mesh adjustable inSEM。Mechanics performance testing show that their compressive and blendingstrength are in inverse relation to the porosity, but be in direct proportion to theproportion of HA.Conclusion:It is indicated that thescaffolds have a good over-all property andcan be used as a type of bio-engineered stent.
