Objective Through questionnaire about voice diseases-related pathogenic factorsfilled by patients with voice diseases, to explore the differences between the differentpathogenic factors of voice diseases, pathogenic features of voice diseases and therelationship of each factors, thus to form more comprehensive understanding ofpathogenic factors of different voice diseases, and more scientific guide in clinicaldiagnosis, treatment and prevention.Method307cases of subjects were enrolled and filled questionnaires about relativepathogenic factors of voice diseases to acquire the exposure of relative pathogenicfactors. Voice diseases include vocal cord polyps, vocal cord cyst, vocal leukoplakia, sulcus vocalis and Reinke,s edema. Total of17kinds of relative pathogenic factorwere involved in this questionnaire: age, career, exclaiming, time of using voice, smoke, wine drinking, water drinking, unhealthy eating, noise, mental stress, reflux, children disciplining, time of sleep, toxic substance exposure, hearing. The five kindsof voice disorders were divided into five groups, and differences of the each relativepathogenic factor between the five groups were analyzed, statistical analysis of dateswere performed using Chi-square test, Analysis of variance, Nonparametric ranksum test and least significant difference t test.Result The difference of age between vocal cord polyp, vocal cord cyst, vocalleukoplakia and Reinke,s edema was statistically significant (P<0.0045), thedifference between sulcus vocalis and the other voice diseases was statisticallysignificant (P<0.05), the age of patients with vocal leukoplakia and Reinke,s edemawas larger than vocal cord polyp and cyst, however, the difference was not significant. The differences of exclaiming frequency, time of using voice and children discipliningbetween vocal cord polyp, vocal cord cyst, vocal leukoplakia, sulcus vocalis andReinke,s edema were statistically significant (P<0.005), the differences of exclaimingfrequency of0-19years old children and20-29、50-59、≥60years old children werestatistically significant (P<0.0045), the differences of exclaiming frequency betweenmale and female were statistically significant (P<0.005). The differences of smokingrate and toxic substance exposure between vocal cord polyp, vocal cord cyst, sulcusvocalis and ocal leukoplakia, Reinke,s edema were statistically significant (P<0.0045).The differences of wine drinking rate between vocal leukoplakia and vocal cord polyp, vocal cord cyst, sulcus vocalis were statistically significant (P<0.0045). Thedifferences of the other relative pathogenic factors between the five groups were notsignificant. Conclusions female are more prone to suffer from vocal cord polyp and vocal cordcyst, male are more prone to suffer from vocal leukoplakia and Reinke,s edema. Theonset age of sulcus vocalis is younger compared to the other vocal diseases;Compared to vocal leukoplakia, sulcus vocalis and Reinke,s edema, vocal cord polypand vocal cord cyst are more likely happened in patients with long-term exclaiming,over-use of voice, disciplining children is an important pathogenic factors for femalepatient. School-age children may be susceptible to voice diseases due to long-termexclaiming; The Risk factor exclaiming is more likely involved in female patientscompared to male patients. Compared to vocal cord polyp, vocal cord cyst and sulcusvocalis, vocal leukoplakia and vocal cord Ren Keshi edema are more inclined toinvolve in the risk factors of long-term smoking and toxic substance exposure.Compared to vocal cord polyp, vocal cord cyst and sulcus vocalis, vocal leukoplakiais more inclined to involve in the risk factors of long-term wine drinking. Each factorcan be involved independently or jointly in the occurrence and development of voicediseases, Comprehensive understanding of the pathogenic characteristics caneffectively guide the clinical diagnosis and treatment etiology of different voicediseases, and form scientific measurements of prevention. Objective: Analyze the difference between pathological voice and normalvoice, and difference among different pathological voices. Search for sensitiveacoustic parameters for voice disorders. Therefore, the result could guide us todiagnose and treat voice disorders.Method: Subjects for study are76people with normal voice and168people withvoice disorders. Voice disorders include:78with vocal fold polyp,31with vocal foldcyst,23with vocal fold leukoplakia,19with Reinke’sedema,17with sulcusvocalis. We apply Multi Dimensional Voice Program(MDVP)Model5105system inthe soft Kay PENTAX-Multi-Speech to collect the acoustic data of all thesubjects’voice, including F0,Jitter, Shimmer,NHR the four parameters.T-test andanalysis of variance are used to analyze the difference between pathological voice andnormal voice, and difference among different pathological voices.Result:The value of Jitter, Shimmer, and NHR of subjects with voice disorders arehigher than subjects with normal voice((P<0.05). The value of F0、Jitter of malesubjects with normal voice are lower than female subjects with normal voice(P<0.05).The value of F0of vocal fold leukoplakia is lower than vocal fold cyst、vocal cordpolyps、 sulcus vocalis, the difference is significant (P<0.05).The rest acousticparameters is not significant among the voice disorders(P>0.05).Conclusion: Acoustic analysis of voice can objectively evaluate the quality ofpathological voice. Jitter、 Shimmer and NHR are sensitive acoustic parameters forpathological voice. Measurements of acoustic parameters help us to diagnose voice disorders and guide the assessment and judgment of the treatment and prognosis ofvoice disorders. Acoustic parameters can not be used for distinguishing different voicedisorders.
