Catastrophic events increasingly become a threat to human survival and public health. After the event of a disaster, the military is often the first time arrived at the scene of therescue, the military is a special group, has a special mission. How to scientifically assessacute stress response of military personnels after performing such task, and put forwardeffective intervention measures is the current issues in military psychology to be solvedurgently. The present study take acute stress response of military personnels participatingin war military operations or non war military operations as the breakthrough point. Usingthe Acute Stress Response Scale to investigate the acute stress response of the militarypersonnels performing different tasks, and establish evaluation criteria for our military. The Acute Stress Response Scale was administrated to no task remaining troops, exercises soldiers, relief military personnels in plateau, earthquake relief troops andmaintaining stability troops. Then the standard of the acute stress response under thedifferent nature of the task was established. After that, The Acute Stress Response Scalewas administrated to airborne troops, and the results was compared to the norms of AcuteStress Response Scale. The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The acute stress responses in military personnels involved in the five kinds ofmission, cognitive change is the most serious one, the second is the emotional reaction, pathological changes is the lightest. (2)The norm of non war military operations under special conditions is higher thanother groups, the war military operations norm slightly higher than the norm of generalnon war military operations. The norm of different task of acute stress responses areshown in table5.(3)The acute stress responses of airborne earthquake relief troops are close to the normof non war military operations under special conditions.(4)Ten syndromes of anxiety, somatic symptoms, discourse, memory loss, helplessness, depression, apathy, guilt, frustrations, and grief can significantly predict reduce of work.
