A Clinical Study Of The Effectiveness Of V-shaped Thread Designed Dental Implant Screw With Microrough Surface Coating On Osseointegration

Objective: This study is aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of V-shaped threaddesigned dental implant screw with microrough surface coating on osseointegration, andproviding clinical information about the thread design and surface coating method ofdental implants.Material and methods: Case selection: This study subjects involved6male and5female cases between ages of45to71. Each subject possessed dentition defects.Treatment methods: After the previous basic dental preparation procedures,129V-shaped thread designed dental implant screws with microrough surface coating wereinstalled. After the implantation surgery, then followed-up and observed every case for aleast one year.Results: By the followed-up and observation for a least one year, all the implantationwere successfully installed and have good osseointegration results. All of the patientswere satisfied after the final restoration and felt good to the results.Conclusion: V-shaped thread designed dental implant screw with microrough surfacecoating is effectively on improving osseointegration. It’s a good method way to designthe dental implant screw and worth to promote it on dental clinical purposes.
