Objective:To observe the safety and efficacy of laryngeal mask airway in general anesthesia, compare the advantages and disadvantages of the application of laryngeal mask airway and endotracheal intubation, and to provide clinical reference to anesthetic practice. Methods:Forty patients (ASA class â…  or â…¡) scheduled for selective thyroid neoplasm operation under general anesthesia were allocated randomly to either LMA group (n=20) or ET group (n=20) with mechanical ventilation. The hemodynamic changes were observed perioperatively, the different effects of ventilation and gas exchange, the different incidence of anesthetic complications and the anesthetic costs were observed in both groups. After induction of general anesthesia with midazolam0.05mg/kg, etomidate0.3mg/kg, injected with cis-acid atracurium0.2mg/kg, fentanyl citrate0.1mg, intravenous induction of3min, into the trachea tube or laryngeal mask, two groups of patients recorded heart rate (HR), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP) and mean arterial pressure (MAP), and patients were placed on record, surgery, extubation, intraoperative24hours after anesthesia-related complications and treatment measures, statistical groups of patients recovery time, orientation recovery time, extubation time and anesthesia fees situation. Result:â‘ LMA insertion time is less than the average intubation time. Intubation group2cases of difficult intubation, after repeated operation was successful.â‘¡Designate cover group in T2, T4when the systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), heart rate (HR) changed little (P>0.05) compared with TO; endotracheal intubation in T2, SBP T4when, DBP and HR was significantly higher than TO (P<0.05); laryngeal mask intubation group comparison, the LMA group SBP when the T2-T5, DBP and HR were significantly lower than the intubation group (P<0.05).â‘¢anesthesia-related complications. Postoperative intubation group had three cases of sore throat, LMA insertion was no.â‘£two groups of patients in recovery time, orientation recovery time, extubation time and costs of anesthesia was no significant difference (P>0.05).Gonelusion:LMA can be suitably used in general anesthesia for thyroid neoplasm operation. Ventilatin with LMA in patients undergoing thyroid neoplasm operation is better than ET in keeping stable hemodynamics and producing less anesthetic complications with smooth recovery from general anesthesia.
