| Subject: To evaluate the treatment result of upper tract disease by digital flexible ureter scopewith holmium laser.Methods: Retrospective analyzed results of the upper tract disease cases treated by digitalflexible ureter scope from Jan.2012to Jan.2013, including of47digital flexible ureter scope.The assessment criteria were including of lithotripsy time of introperation, effect of lithotripsyand complication after surgery. In case of testing the stone discharging rate, recheck the KUBor urinary CT after surgery3days,1month,3month.Results:39patients of upper urinary tract lithiasis were first successfully used ureter scope.Once success rate of ureter scope is82.9%(39/47). The39cases were found and brokestone successfully. Lithotripsy time is35—160(86.54±30.50) minutes. Because of stoneunfound or unused ureter scope, there were8failed cases. The failed cases were because ofabnormal structure of urinary tract. There were2patients arising infection symptom, andhealed by using antibiotics medicine. In35similar cases, evacuation rate of ESWL once was60.0%(21/35),α=0.05,χ2=8.173,P=0.004<0.05. There are differences with a statisticalsignificance. Evacuation rate of ESWL twice was65.7%(23/35),α=0.05,χ2=5.735,P=0.017<0.05. There is difference with a statistical significance. Evacuation rate of ESWLthree times was68.6%(24/35),α=0.05,χ2=4.636,P=0.031<0.05. There were17patientsdiscovering other upper tract disease, including of6cases of Renal pelvis and calycestumors,3cases of upper tract of varicose veins,2cases of blood clot,2cases of ureteral polyp,2cases of mucosal hyperemia,1case of papillary hypertrophy and1case of vision unclearbecause of bleeding. Conclusions: Applications of digital flexible ureter scope is a safe way to diagnosis and treatthe upper tract disease. It has an important clinical significance to diagnosis for unknownpathological changes in upper urinary and renal collecting system and hematuresis withoutspecific reasons. |
