The Clinical Study Of Using The Method Of Invigorating The Kidney And Regulating Menstruation Cycles In The Treatment Of PCOS

The first part of the article summarized the main etiology and pathogenesis of the PCOS and poses the basic methods of treating for PCOS with traditional Chinese medicine theory and western theory.The second part described the clinical research on the curative effect of the method of invigorating the kidney and regulating menstruation cycles.According to the clinical diagnostic criteria, we selected100patients with PCOS at the First People’s Hospital of Yangzhou City from March2012to March2013.They were randomly divided into groups of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine group,50cases in each group. The patients in Chinese group were treated with Chinese drugs and the patients in western group were treated with Diane-35for3months. At last, we get33patients in Chinese group and28patients in western group after excluding the cases do not meet. The levels in serum of LH, FSH, LH/FSH, T, E2, LP, IGF-1were assayed and BMI, acne, hirsutism, menstruation of the PCOS patients and the patients who were pregnant were recorded before and after the treatment. We also compared the levels of serum LP and serum IGF-1between60normal female and61PCOS patients. The evaluation and statistics were done using SPSS17.0for Windows software and X2test, T test, calculating data expressed x±S.Conclusion:1. The levels of serum LP, IGF-1were high in patients with PCOS.2. The method of invigorating the kidney and regulating menstruation cycles could ameliorate menstruation, particularly in terms of improving the menstrual flow, significantly better than Diane-35, and could improve the pregnancy rate.3.The method of invigorating the kidney and regulating menstruation cycles could ameliorate hormone levels in patients with PCOS:decrease LH、FSH、T、LH/FSH and improve E2levels. And significantly the method of invigorating the kidney and regulating menstruation cycles was better than Diane-35in improving E2levels, further increasing menstrual flow.4. The method of invigorating the kidney and regulating menstruation cycles could reduce LP、IGF-1levels in patients with PCOS, and the effect of reducing the level of LP was better than Diane-35.The third part discusses the theory origin,medication characteristics of each period and mechanism of the method of invigorating the kidney and regulating menstruation cycles.The menstrual cycle were divided into4phases:Menstrual period, to be treated with traditional Chinese medicine of Huoxue xingqi tiaojing decoction;the period after the menstruation, to be treated with Ziyin bushen jianpi decoction; the period of Intermenstrual ovulation,to be treated with Bushen huoxue tongluo decoction; the period before the menstruation,to be treated with Yishen zhuyang decoction.And the method of invigorating the kidney and regulating menstruation cycles was confirmed to improve the clinical symptoms and ovarian hormone levels in serum of the patients with polycystic,which based on Charpy Tiaozhou and the clinical experience of advisor for many years.
