Objective: To study Diaoliu pill on hyperplasia of mammary glands in rats is tofurther explore its mechanism for providing some experimenttal evidences oftraditional Chinese medicine preventing and treating mammary glands, and sometheoretical basis on development and application of the drug.Methods: To establish estradiol benzoate and progesterone model,50nonfertilefemale healthy adult Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal group, modelgroup, the Diaoliu pill, Tamoxifen group, including20rats of the model group, theremaining10rats in each group. Each group began modeling after a week of feedingadaptation except for the normal group. After modeling success, it is time to beginwith Drug treatment. To observe rats general condition, changes in the nipplediameter and height, ER, PR expression levels and the pathological changes of breasttissue.Results:1Changes in nipple diameter: Disease model rats2,3of nipple diametercompared with normal group significantly increased(P<0.05); After drug intervention,compared with the disease model rats, the nipple diameter of the rats in treated groupsignificantly reduced (P<0.05).2The nipple height change: Disease model rats2,3nipple height with thenormal group more obviously increased (P<0.05); After drug intervention, comparedwith disease model rats, the rats in treated group nipple height significantly reduced(P<0.05).3Morphological changes: Compared with the commerl group, the breast tissuepathological degree of proliferation of the disease model rats were significantlydifferent (P<0.01), severe hyperplasia; drug-treated rats for each group with thedisease model comparison, breast Pathomorphology was significantly different(P<0.01).4Changes ER, PR expression: Compared with normal rats, the disease model rats ER,PR Level were significantly higher in breast tissue (P<0.01); The drug of theTamoxifen, and models group ER,PR Level were significantly different (P<0.05);Compared with model group, Diaoliu Pill rats’ ER, PR expression decreasedsignificantly (P<0.01),and ER, PR expression was no significant difference in thetamoxifen group and Diaoliu pill group.Conclusion: Diaoliu pill can reduce the degree of rat mammary glandhyperplasia hyperplasia of mammary glands, reducing the diameter and height of thenipple, and reducing the Rat mammary tissue ER, PR expression Significantly,improving proliferation of rat mammary gland tissue pathological. Effectiveprevention and treatment of mammary glands model rat mammary hyperplasia, themechanism may be by adjusting the mammary gland hyperplasia in rats Hormonereceptor levels, resulting in suppression and treatment role of breast hyperplasia.
