| Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of TSSC1in glioma patients and tothe role influence on cell biology of glioma U87cells.Methods RT-PCR and Western blot were used to examine the expression ofTSSC1in glioma samples, including80normal tissues and80primary tumors. MTTand transwell were used to analyze the ability of proliferation, migration, and invasionin TSSC1siRNA-transfected U87cells. Cell viability was measured by MTT.We foundthat the concentration of polyethyleneimine between0.1μg/ml and10μg/ml showd noobvious toxic effects on astrocytes. promoted. Therefore, we choose1h for the furtherresearch of radiation protection.Results TSSC1is down-regulated in glioma and related to higher grade.Furthermore, knockdown of TSSC1expression results in increased proliferation andinvasion in U87cells in vitro.Conclusion Our results may provide a strategy for blocking glioma andprogression. |
