Objective:To explore the expression and significance of YB-1in endometriosis patients, and to explore whether YB-1May become a potential diagnosis index, therapeutic targets and prognostic marker of endometriosis patients. we detected the expression of YB-1in endometriosis tissue, peritoneal fluid and their serum. Methods:Samples were collected from January2011to December2013at Second Xiangya Hospital of central south university. All tissues were confirmed by HE. The expression of YB-1were used for Immunohistochemistry (IHC) SP method in ectopic endometrium(40), eutopic endometrium(40) and normal control group(30). YB-1protein expression were determined by ELISA test in serum and peritoneal fluid of40patients with endometriosis and the control group of30patients without endometriosis. To explore the relationship YB-1and endometriosis, and its results were analyzed by SPSS17.0, p<0.05was considered statistically significant.Result:(1)The expression of YB-1showed a gradually increasing in normal endometrium, eutopic endometrium and ectopic endometrium tissues (p<0.05), the difference was statistically significant. It mainly expressed in endometrial glandular epithelium. small amounts of YB-1could be seen in interstitial cells;(2)The level of YB-1in endometriosis group were higher than control group in the serum and peritoneal fluid(P<0.05), and YB-1in the peritoneal fluid levels were higher than that in serum group(P<0.05);(3) In tissue, the expression of YB-1were higher in secretion phase of eutopic endometrium than proliferative phase(P<0.05), and no difference in ectopic endometriosis and normal endometrium(P>0.05). In serum and peritoneal fluid, no matter endometriosis group or control group, the expression of YB-1were higher in the secretion phase than prolifertive phase(P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant;(4) The level of YB-1were different in different R-AFS stagings endometrial tissue, serum and peritoneal fluid, III-IV phase were higher than â… -â…¡ phase, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:The high expression of YB-1in endometriosis tissue, serum and peritoneal fluid suggest that YB-1may involved in the onset of endometriosis, and which are correlation with the severity of endometriosis lesions.
