Objective Through meta analysis of coflex system and plif operation, we evaluatedefficacy and safety of coflex device in the treatment of lumbar degenerative diseaseand explored its advantages. Methods We searched database of computer and anuallysearched related journals in order to collect those researches for comparation ofcoflex and plif that met the inclusion criteria, so that we coule evaluate thecomparation systematicly. Results We brought into a total of8literatures, including762cases. Comparing with coflex group and plif group, the postoperative VAS andODI score at final follow-up was no statistically different between the two groups(P>0.05). But the operation time, bleeding and hospitalization time of coflex groupwas significant lower than those of plif group(P<0.05). The last follow-up of ROM ofoperative segment and upper segment was different, the coflex group was batter(P<0.05). While the lower segment had no difference(P>0.05). Conclusion Theefficacy of coflex system for the treatment of lumbar degenerative disease is exact, while compared with traditional plif operation, coflex has shorter operation time, lessbleeding, less hospitalization days and smaller effect on lumbar spine mobility. |
