Clinical Observation Of Dispersing And Promoting Lung Qi In Prevention And Treatment Of Hemorrhoid With Damp Heat Type Postoperative Constipation

ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic effect of dispersing and promoting lung qi in prevention and treatment of hemorrhoid with damp heat type postoperative constipation. Explore the TCM principle of lift the pot and remove the lid, and to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety.MethodsThe study collected68cases that included in the standard, were divided into treatment group (36cases) and control group (32cases). After completing the preoperative examination, selecting the operation way of Procedure for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids (PPH)&External piles resection. First day postoperatively, the treatment group with oral the prescription of dispersing and promoting lung qi and Fiberform, the control group only oral Fiberform. To observe and record two groups of patients with defecation time, stool frequency, Fecal character, Along with the symptoms, then filling in the observation schedule. According to the two sets of scores for data statistics, judge the curative effect.ResultsQn the first day after surgery, defecate rate of treatment group was69.4%, defecate rate of control group was43.7%. Before nine o’clock in the morning the next day after surgery, the treatment group defecate rate can be increased to83.33%, the control defecate rate increased to50.0%. Great differences were found in the defecate rate between the two groups. The patients who didn’t defecate on the second after surgery would be accepted the enema with500ml physiological saline. Enema rate of treatment group was16.67%and the control group was50.0%. Great differences were found in the enema rate between the two groups. From the third day to the fifth day after surgery, integral of two groups of constipation symptom show that, compared with the control group, treatment group defecate character slants became more slim, easier feeling of tenesmus and less pain. However, the integral of defecate frequency and the anus jam feeling show no statistical difference.ConelusionIt was safe and effective to prevent and treat constipation after PPH with the prescription of dispersing and promoting lung qi, which reduce the rate of postoperative enema, make defecate character slants thin, easy feeling, less defecate tenesmus and bowel movements are more mild pain.However, the integral of defecate frequency and the anus jam feeling show no statistical difference.
