ObjectiveThis thesis apply the method of case-control experiment design study, investigation of children with autism and parents quality of life, study the difference of children with autism and mental retardation in the control group and normal control group and discussion on the influence factors of affect quality of life in three groups. Acupuncture intervention for children with autism, observation of acupuncture treatment to improve autistic children’s quality of life, to guide clinical rehabilitation measures, improve the quality of the survival of children with autism.MethodsPart1. Cross-sectional study:in sep2012-December2013in guangzhou university of Chinese medicine affiliated children’s hospital in NanHai, Foshan children with autism rehabilitation facility, guangzhou women and children health care center different centers, during the investigation into the standard2-12autistic children and their parents as autism group, age-matched healthy children and their parents were randomly selected as normal control group, children with mental retardation children and their parents as control group.Using the universal scale PedsQL4.0to measure quality of life of three groups of children, the world health organization quality of life measurement scale short form (WHOQOL BREF) measuring quality of life of three groups of parents. Comparing the difference between the three groups of children and parents quality of life, the analysis of the autistic children and their parents all areas of life quality score and study its family situation, degree of cases and the relationship between the intellectual level. Part2. Clinical trials research:in30cases of children with autism, give Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion treatment, treatment for3months, were observed before and after treatment with disease quality of survival, and development of related changes, their comparison and statistical analysis, before and after the intervention effect.ResultsThis study investigate120cases of children in the autism group, children and mental retardation children’s and normal control group, each100cases. The study found that three groups of children’s age, gender, and children parents’ gender, education level, family income and so on various aspects of the differences were not statistically significant. Autism group of parents WHOQOI-BREF scale survival quality significantly lower than normal group of parents, less than mental development group of parents, statistically significant (P <0.01). Autistic children’s quality of life (especially the functions of social and emotional aspects) children, significantly lower than the normal control group is lower than the mental development of children, statistically significant (P<0.01); On different kinds of intelligent autistic compare quality of life, show that children with high-functioning autism in all aspects and the overall quality of life were higher than low-functioning autistic, differences were statistically significant (P<0.01); Different disease classification and intelligence level of children with autism, but no statistically significant differences in terms of emotional function, and the overall quality of life in other ways the differences were statistically significant (P<0.01); Chinese medicine acupuncture treatment after3months, return visit27cases, lost to follow-up with in3, lost to follow-up rate was6.7%; Review the basic features of children and children with lost to follow-up no statistically significant difference; Before and after treatment with CARS rating suppliers DQ, language development and social adaptation development DQ and survival quality score differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Before and after treatment in children with different dimensions of ABC inventory autistic differences in the quality of survival were statistically significant (P<0.05).ConclusionAutistic children’s quality of life (especially the emotional function and social function) obvious damage. Quality of life associated with the illness degree and the intellectual level, degree of illness is heavier, the lower the intelligence level and the quality of life the more serious the damage. Parents quality of life of autistic group was obviously lower than normal children, parents, but no statistical difference with spiritual development group.
