| Stephania yunnannensis, is a species of genus Stephania (Menispermacae), S.yunnannensis is used as a folk medicine in southern Yunnan province, which was for thetreatment of ulcer, furunculosis, et al. It is known that the chemical constituents of S.yunnannensis are mainly isoquinoline alkaloids with bioactiviries. From the ethanolextract,17compounds were isolated by the various chromatographies from S.yunnannensis. They were identified by physicochemical constants and spectral analysis as:β-sitosterol(1), stephanine(2), L-dicentrine(3), phanostenine(4), stesakine(5), isolaureline(6), crebanine(7), dehydrocrebanine(8), dehydrodicentrine(9), oliveridine (10),cassythicine(11), stephanonine(12), oxostepnanine(13), oxocrebanine(14), stepholidine(15), sebiferine(16), sinoacutine(17). Among the chemical constituents, compounds4~6,10,12,13and16were isolated from S. yunnannensis for the first time. Meanwhile,compound10was isolated from the genus of Stephania for the first time. All of thesecompounds can be divided into3types: aporphine, protoberberine, and morphine.Structure type of most compounds we derived are Aporphine alkaloids, Morphinealksloids we derived such as sinoacutine is the maximum compound from this species. In the second chapter, we have summarized botany morphology, distribution, chemical constituents from mainland and overseas’ research and bioactivities of Stephaniaplants in China. |
