The Clinical Application Of The Improved Asahi Kasei Ach-10Blood Purifier In Low Weight Children Undering Continued Hemofiltration

Objects：To observe whether the Asahi Kasei ACH-10Blood Purifierafter being improved appropriately can be used in continued hemofiltrationsafely and effectively to low weight children.Methods： Retrospective analysis on eight low birth weight childrenwho sufferred with severe multiple organ failure （MODS），carrying oncontinuous venous hemofiltration（CVVHF）with Asahi Kasei ACH-10Blood Purifier improved technology. Observe the changes of the outcomemeasures such as potassium、urea nitrogen、creatinine、lactic et al；andobserve the occurrence and prognosis of the blood filtration-relatedcomplications.Results: All8cases of low birth weight children were successfullycatheterred, and unable to bypass with bad blood using conventional wayof blood hemofiltration.And then they bypassed successfully after usingthe improved technology-diluting at the former of the blood pump. Theenvironment such as severe acidosis、hyperkalemia、 lactic acidosis at aland renal disorders were improved significantly (P <0.01);There was one case complicating with hypothermia, accounting for12.5%;There was noone with significant dropping in blood pressure during the process ofpurification, but there was one case with blood pressure dropped at theending of CVVHF treatment and improved after active treatment,accounting for12.5%;There was one case with filtration column clotting,accounting for12.5%, but the life of the filter column was more than12hours; And there was no other complications such as bleeding.Conclusions:1.Asahi Kasei ACH-10Blood Purifier improvedappropriately can be used in hemofiltration of low weight children safelyand effectively. It’s beneficial to improve the important organ function ofthe low weight children with severe MODS, and it’s beneficial to Improvethe success rate, too.2. In exceptional circumstances, other blood purifier can be used inblood purification of low weight children like this, so as to provide therescue time and conditions to such children.
