Objective:In this research,we want to explore an reasonable and effective treatment for infertility women who get PCOS,by observing the clinical efficacy about acupuncture and clomiphene in therapy. We’d also explore the influence to the pregnancy rate of women with PCOS.The evaluated about psychological conditions of those people before and after treatment would also to be done.Methods:Choose44PCOS patients who in keeping with the inclusion criteria, they are randomly divided into four groups:Group A:Acupuncture scheme1+clomiphene; Group B: Acupuncture scheme2(placebo)+clomiphene; Group C:Acupuncture scheme1+Clomiphene placebo; Group D:Acupuncture scheme2(placebo)+clomiphene placebo. To undergo16weeks of treatment (if one get pregnant during the treatment, stop at once). Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), the ovulation rate and the pregnancy rate are the data we observed.Results:(1) The ovulation rate:Group A had30cycles of ovulation in total, with ovulation rate of54.5%; Group B had15cycles of ovulation in total, with ovulation rate of41.7%; Group C had13cycles of ovulation in total, with ovulation rate of39.4%; Group D had12cycles of ovulation in total, with ovulation rate of32.4%; The ovulation rate of A group is higher than D group, with statistical significant difference (P<0.05); Group A compared with group B and group C, though it’s ovulation rate is higher than group B and group C, there’s no statistically significant difference (P>0.05); group C and group D compared, no statistically significant difference (P>0.05).(2) Treatment outcome:Group A of pregnant9(56.3%) cases, effective6(37.5%) cases and1(6.2%) patient useless; Group B of pregnant1(11.1%) cases, effective5(55.6%) cases,3(33.3%) patients useless; Group C of pregnant2(22.2%) cases, effective5(55.6%) cases,2(22.2%) patients useless; Group D of pregnant (30.0%) cases, effective4(40.0%) cases,3(30.0%) patients useless; A group’s pregnancy rate is higher than group B, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05); A group’s effective rate and inefficient rate are lower than that from group B, and there’s no significant difference (P>0.05).When compared with group C and group D or group B and group D,the pregnancy rate, effective rate and inefficient rate have no significant differences(P<0.05). The results shows that, A group and B group has differences in clinical efficacy, group A’s pregnancy rate is higher than group B.(3) Psychological condition:before the treatment:The average of SAS standard score is43.84; anxiety ratio is20.5%, The average of SDS standard score is45.88; depression ratio is20.5%; after the treatment:The average of SAS standard score is45.00; anxiety ratio is27.3%, The average of SDS standard score is46.99; depression ratio comes to25.0%. Whatever SAS or SDS, the mean standard score is lower after treatment, both of them have no statistically significant difference(P>0.05); The SAS and SDS data from the cases of the research indicates, those patients’anxiety and depression ratio are higher than the Chinese norm, with statistical significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupuncture is a safe and effective adjunct to induce follicular development and discharge,to increase clinical prengnancy rate for the PCOS patients.2.Doctors and nurses should care about the infertility women not only the disease itself, but aslo their psychological health.
