The Evaluation Research Of Lian Zhi Qing Chang Tang On Treating The Diarrhea-Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Objectives:To observe the clinical therapeutic effect on diarrhea-irritable bowel syndrome by the method of Lian Zhi Qing Chang Tang.Methods:This research was based on80cases of outpatients with pathogenesis of mixed cold and heat,which were randomly divided into two groups. One group was the treatment group,40patients of which were treated with Lian Zhi Qing Chang Tang. The other group was the control group,with40patients being treated with Pinaverium Bromide tablets. These patients all met the TCM diagnosis criterion. Both groups were treated for four weeks. Clinical symptoms’changes which include before and after treatment and after one month of un-treatment were detected respectively to evaluate the therapeutic effects and long-term clinical efficacy.Results:After one course of treatment,the treatment group in40cases,clinical cure8cases,16cases were markedly improved,13were effective,3of them was invalid,the total effective rate in the treatment group is92.50%. The control group in40cases,1case was cured,5cases were markedly improved,25were effective,9of them was invalid,the total effective rate in the control group is77.50%.There is a significant difference in the total effective rate between the treatment group and control group in the statistics (P<0.01).The effective rate from the treatment group is dearly superior.Both of the two groups obviously improve symptoms (P<0.05);The degree of improvement about Lian Zhi Qing Chang Tang is better than Pinaverium Bromide tablets in stool frequency,abdominal pain,bowel sounds,lumbar debility and bitter mouth (P<0.05); The time of the treatment group on alleviating the bowel sounds,abdominal distension,lumbar debility,abdomen cold and bitter mouth is faster than the control group (P<0.05).Before and after one course of treatment,there were no significant effects in both of two groups. After one month of un-treatment,the long-term clinical efficacy about Lian Zhi Qing Chang Tang is better than pinaverium Bromide tablets (P<0.01).Conclusions: In the treating on diarrhea-irritable bowel syndrome,Lian Zhi Qing Chang Tang has the significant,safe and good long-term clinical efficacy.
