| Objecticve:Effects through the use of META analysis system to assess neurotrophic drugs in protecting visual function in patients with glaucoma.Methds:Cochrane systematic approach to evaluation by computer retrieval WanFangDATA, VIP database and China CNKI database. Inclusion neurotrophic random drug treatment of glaucoma and quasi-randomized controlled trials, and RevMan5.0statistical software provided by the Cochrane Collaboration quality assessment, data extraction and Meta-analysis.Results:A total of eight randomized controlled study literature, including353cases of patients,453eyes. By Meta analysis showed:neuroprotective agents for glaucoma IOP control in protecting the optic nerve has been maintained over the best corrected visual acuity areas only through surgery and intraocular pressure lowering medications to treat glaucoma better (P<001.). But included a small number of studies, and the existence of a certain degree of methodological flaws, so its low strength of evidence, experimental studies require large sample volume through more stringent design and multi-center to further enhance the credibility of the evidence. Conclusion:Neurotrophic drugs to treat glaucoma in the protection of the optic nerve, maintaining only the best corrected visual acuity compared with the treatment of glaucoma by lowering intraocular surgery and better drugs. However, due to the low current research neurotrophic drugs and protection of visual function in glaucoma patients reported in the literature quality, a smaller number, still needs more large sample volume and multi-center randomized controlled trial to further confirm the application of neurotrophic drugs in the treatment of glaucoma superiority. |
