Objective:To study the relationship between ANRIL gene (rs1333040, rs10757272, rs6475606) polymorphisms and sporadic intracranial aneurysms in Hunan Han population.Methods:These clinical data and blood samples were collected from108sporadic intracranial aneurysms (sIA) patients and107controls. DNA of the cases and controls were extracted from peripheral blood. Matrix-assisted laser desorption/lionization time of flight mass sectrometry (MALDI-TOFMS) were used to detect genotype of the three polymorphisms (rs1333040, rs10757272, rs6475606) in ANRIL gene, respectively. Multivariate binary logistic regression was used to analysis these three SNPs frequencies of genotypes and allele between sIA group and control group, between the single group or multiple groups (from sIA group) and the control group, between the ruptured or unruptured group (from single sIA group) and the control group,between posterior circulation or anterior circulation group (from single sIA group) and the control group.Results:(1)There are no statistical differences in genotypic or allelic frequencies of rs1333040, rs10757272, rs6475606variants in the ANRIL gene between sIA group and control group (p>0.05, multivariate binary logistic regression).(2) There are no statistical differences in genotypic or allelic frequencies of rs1333040, rs10757272, rs6475606variants in the ANRIL gene between single sIA group or multiples sIA group and control group (p>0.05, multivariate binary logistic regression).(3) There are no statistical differences in genotypic or allelic frequencies of rs1333040, rs10757272, rs6475606variants in the ANRIL gene between ruptured sIA group or unruptured sIA group and control group (p>0.05, multivariate binary logistic regression).(4)There are no statistical differences in genotypic or allelic frequencies of s1333040, rs10757272, rs6475606variants in the ANRIL gene between aosterior circulation group or posterior circulation group and control group (p>0.05, multivariate binary logistic regression).Conclusion:(1)The ANRIL gene(rs1333040, rs10757272and rs6475606) SNPs may be not associated with the susceptibility of sIA in Hunan Han population.(2) The ANRIL gene (rs1333040, rs10757272and rs6475606) SNPs may be not associated with the single/multiple of sIA, the ruptured/unruptured of single sIA patients in Hunan Han population.(3) In the single sIA Hunan Han patients, the ANRIL gene (rs1333040, rs10757272and rs6475606) SNPs may be not associated with aosterior/posterior distribution.
