| Objective: Our study was aimed at investigating the incidence ofnosocomial infection and the factors of infection in the child Rehabilitationdepartment.Methods: Retrospective review was performed on516individuals inRehabilitation department in Children’s Hospital of Chongqing MedicalUniversity in2013. The record was collected which included patient’sdemographics, clinical presentation, management, and the results of bloodroutine examination. The individuals were divided into nosocomialinfection group and control group according to the occurrence ofnosocomial infection or not. The SAS9.2was used for statistical analysis.Results:1. During516cases in our study, male accounted for64.15%, femaleaccounted for35.85%, and the ratio was1.8to1.2.516cases of Rehabilitation, The hospital infection rate was61.24%.3. There was statistically significant difference in group nosocomialinfection compared to control group on these factors which included age,the length of stay, malnutrition, the variety of disease.(P<0.05). 4. The anemia, conscious state, path of nutrition had no statisticallysignificant difference between nosocomial infection group and controlgroup(P>0.05).Conclusions: nosocomial infection is prone to occur in children under1year old. The age, length of stay, malnutrition the variety of disease arerisk factors for the hospital infection and will increase the risk ofnosocomial infection. The controversial finding in our study is whetheranemia,conscious state and path of nutrition can influence the rate ofhospital infection or not. |
