Objectives: Observed the changing of the IL2,IL6,IL10and MDA in the bloodfrom41patients with delayed encephalopathy after Acute carbon monoxidepoisioning(DEACMP)just in hospital and14days after hospitalization, and we alsomeasure the level of IL-2, IL-6, IL-10, MDAin the blood from the healthy controlsand the patients of Acute carbon monoxide poisoning(ACMP).We grade theintelligence of patient just in hospital and14days after hospitalization,by MMSE(Mini-mental,stalteexmination)and ADL(activity of daily living scale),and study therelationship between the changing of scores and the changes of concentrations of theIL2, IL6, IL10and MDA.And investigated the mechanism of DEACMP.Methods:Accoding to the clinical diagnosis criterion41patients of DEACMPwere chosen and classified into two situations that just in hospital and14days afterhospitalization, and chosed36patient of acute monoxide poisoning. At the same timechosed40healthy persons,we draw blood sample from all the persons in themorning, used those sample to measure the concentrations of the IL-2,IL-6,IL-10andMDA.We also fill in the MMSE and ADL for the patients with DEACMP just inhospital and14days after hospitalization, We measure the concentration of IL andADL,and compare them in the four groups. Result1. The concentrations of IL-2, IL-6, IL-10of the ACMP patients weresignificantly higher than those of healthy group(P<0.01).2.The concentration of IL-10and MDA in the blood sample from41patientwith DEACMP just in hospital significantly more than healthy group(P<0.01).3.The concentration of IL-2,IL-10in the blood of patients with DEACMP14days after hospitalization were significantly more than those of patients just inhospital, but the concentrations of IL-10and MDA in the blood sample of patientswith14days after hospitalization were significantly less than those in the patients withDEACMP just in hospital (P<0.01).4.There were significantly changes between the figures of MMSE andADLD of EACMP patients just in hospital and those of14days afterhospitalization.5.There were significantly relations between the changes of IL6and thechanges of MMSE.Conclusions:1.Immuune factors IL-2, IL-6, IL-10play a important role in thepathophysiological mechanisms of DEACMP.2.The changes of peroxidation end product MDA prove that free radicalparticipate during the process of DEACMP.
