Objective:By observing the topical treatment of acne cream on acne vulgaris(lung wind-heat syndrome) number, color, itching and pain of skin lesions, to detect its influence on trans-epidermal water loss(TEWL) and skin sebum content and investigate the clinical effect and action mechanism. By observing its possible adverse reactions to evaluate its safety, thereby provide a simple and feasible, safe and effective method for the treatment of acne. Methods:Divided randomly selected 130 patients into treatment group and the control group. 65 patients in treatment group received topical acne cream, 65 cases in the control group rubbed metronidazole gel outside, and oral acne agented for both groups. Fill in the basic situation of he newly diagnosed patients at first, and then recorded the nature and extent of the number of two lesions itching, pain, color, lesions of newly diagnosed, after treatment of one week, two weeks, three weeks and four weeks and recorded its integration change as well. Meanwhile medication compliance was requested and adverse reactions were recorded. Before treatment and at the end of treatment, the facial sebum content and TEWL levels of patients were detected. The total course of treatment was for a month, evaluated the effect after treatment and detected the recurrence rate statistics after stopping medicine four weeks.Results:1.After the treatment, the total effective rate of treatment group was 83.05%, the score of lesions number was 10.42 ± 10.20 points, the separate score of skin lesions color, itching and pain score was 0.93 ± 0.72 points, 0.73 ± 0.72 points and 0.47 ± 0.54 points; about the control group, the total effective rate was 76.79%, the core of lesions number was 15.07 ± 11.32 points, score of skin lesions color, itching, pain was 1.25 ±0.84 points, 0.32 ± 0.51 points, 0.73 ± 0.67 points separately. The total treatment efficiency of the two groups, the comparison between lesions number, integral lesions itching, pain and color, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05). 2.After the treatment, about the treatment group, the score of skin sebum content was 116.71±31.71μg/cm~2, the score of TEWL was 12.19±3.53g/m2h;about the control group, the score of skin sebum content was 103.71±28.62μg/cm~2, the score of TEWL was12.86±4.38g/m2 h.the comparison of skin sebum content between two groups was statistically significant(P <0.01) in statistic, TEWL was no statistically different(P> 0.05).The skin lipid content and TEWL of both treatment group and control group after treatment decreased, which had statistically significant difference(P <0.01). 3.After 4 weeks of follow-up, the recurrence rate was 11.11% in treatment group, the recurrence rate was 33.33% in the control group, contrast between the two groups P> 0.05, no statistically significant difference. 4.Both groups didn’t have adverse reactions.Conclusion:1.Acne cream has a good therapeutic effect for mild and moderate acne vulgaris in patients with skin lesions.2. Acne cream can enhance treatment efficiency, improve the severity of acne lesions in patients and reduce the relapse rate.3. Acne cream reduces skin sebum secretion and lessens trans-epidermal water loss, improving skin self-productive function.4. Acne cream is a safe and effective drug therapy, worthy of promotion.
