objective: In order to know the change of the Iodine volt s’ disinfection efficacy after different temperature of different heating met hods,we observed the change of its effective iodine content 、killing rat e to staphylococcus aureus、escherichia coli and candida albicans and toxi cological effect of animals. Methods : 1.According to the different metho ds of heating, this experiment can be divided into four groups: ①Normal Temperature(20℃) ②water bath ③Liquid heating cabinet ④micro-wave oven,②③④groups were heated to 25℃、30℃、35℃、40 ℃and 45℃.This experiment of iodine volts respectively used Zhongguang iodine com pound disinfectant and 3MTM aihujia preoperative skin disinfectant. 2. We have used 0.1mmol/l Sodium thiosulfate standard solution to observe the change of its effective iodine content. 3.We measured killing rate of staphylococcus aureus、escherichia coli and candida albicans by suspension quantitative germicidal test. 4.We observe toxicological effect of animals by Acute Oral Toxicity Test 、Subacute toxicity test、A damaged skin sti mulation test、Complete skin stimulate test many times and Draize test. Results: 1. Measure of effective iodine content:(1)Zhongguang disinfe ctant:②③④groups were higher than ①.Differences were statistically sig nificant(P<0.05).Comparison among groups ②and ③, ③and ④diff erences were statistically significant(P<0.05),There was no statisticall y significant difference between ②and ④(P>0.05).(2)3MTM aihujia d isinfectant: ③④groups were higher than ①,Differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison among groups ②and ③, ②and ④d ifferences were statistically significant(P<0.05),There was no statistic ally significant difference between ③and ④(P>0.05).(3)Zhongguang disinfectant and 3MTM aihujia disinfectant: differences were statistically si gnificant(P<0.05).2. Neutralizer appraisal test: According to the neutral izer appraisal standard, 10 g/L sodium thiosulfate phosphate buffer for su spension quantitative germicidal test was appropriate. 3. Suspension quanti tative germicidal test: After 3 min of Iodine volts,the average kill val ue of staphylococcus aureus、escherichia coli and candida albicans was hi gher than 5.00, Sterilization rate was 100%. That is say difference of eac h group after different temperature of different heating methods was no s tatistically significant.4. Animal experiment: We haven’t found Iodine voltof Zhongguang disinfectant and 3MTM aihujia disinfectant after heating had obvious toxicology effect to mice. It belongs to no excitant and actu al non-toxic grade material. Conclusion: 1. Effective iodine content of Io dine volts after heating were higher than normal temperature. 2. Different heating methods don’t affect the sterilization rate of Iodine volts. 3. Iodi ne volts after heating still belong to no excitant and non-toxic grade mat erial.
