Avascular necrosis of femoral head (ANFH) is a common disease. The most common method to treat the disease is artificial femoral head replacement. The matching degree of the acetabulum and the femoral head prostheses has a significant effect on the operation result. The shapes of the femoral head are various from people to people whereas the artificial femoral head prostheses are manufactured under a uniform producing and supplying mode. Therefore, it seems significantly necessary of the individualized modeling and manufacturing the artificial femoral head prostheses, which is based on the parameters of the patient’s own bone structure.In order to solve this problem, we must use the patient’s own biological characteristic parameters, with the aid of modern computer technology and modern processing technology to create personalized artificial femoral head prosthesis that matches the structure of acetabulum patients. And utmost to restore the patient’s physiological function.The current study of femoral head prosthesis model reconstruction scheme mostly use much more samples under the condition of the optimization result of probability and statistics.The patient’s own biological characteristic parameters are not make use of. It is the lack of scientific basis, and target prosthesis can’t refactor match conditions the state of the model. There is no system method of reconstruction.With these problems to be solved, this paper do research on the automatic segmentation of acetabulum organization before fitting the prostheses model, and discusses the latest the two kinds of reverse remodeling scheme put forward. Finally, the whole system is established based on the MFC interface framework and some computer vision and image processing libraries, such as OpenCV, MITK and VTK. The part of segmentation function is implemented and a medical image processing system is designed by integrating the reconstruction function. And the key technologies of the modeling of the femoral head is obtained.
