| BackgroundPrimary dysmenorrhea is a kind of troublesome gynecological disease for a lot of women. With improving quality of people’ slife, patients could more prefer to use the way with painless, no toxic and side effect to solve the ache. Moxibustion therapy is just the kind of effective method to meet the requirement. On the basis of the different syndromes of diseases, to adopt different Chinese medicine to be isolated with applying the moxibustion therapy; that is not only to play the advantages but also to show the characteristics of syndrome differentiation of the traditional Chinese Medicine. This gives full play to the moxibustion isolated by Chinese medicine on superiority in treating the primary dysmenorrhea.ObjectiveBy adopting the randomized controlled trials to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of moxibustion isolated by Chinese medicine for curing primary dysmenorrhea, and to analyze the clinical value and feasibility of it.MethodsAs this thesis requirement, we got 60 cases in total, which were primary dysmenorrhea patients, and divided them into two groups equally and randomly. The treatment group was applied by moxibustion isolated by Chinese medicine and the control group used the Simple Moxibustion. By utilizing the standard score for dysmenorrhea symptoms, to observe their changes before and after treatment, and to get the comparison of the curative effect. Software SPSS19.0 was used for statistical analysis of all data, in which the measurement data was applied by t-test, ranked data was analyzed with chi-square test, in order to see whether there is different efficacy between the treatment group and control group.Results1.We got the comparison result by referring to the score for dysmenorrhea symptoms which had been applied by moxibustion isolated by Chinese medicine (the treatment group, Group A) and the Simple Moxibustion (the control group, Group B):there was the amelioration which Group A was obviously better than Group B in aspects of ache, peripheral coldness, soreness of waist and anal pendant expansion (P<0.01); and there was no significant difference between Group A and Group B for improvement in aspects among pale complexion, nausea and vomiting and ache duration (P>0.05).2. The evaluation of entire curative effect after treatment:the Group A and Group B were both effective in improving the clinical symptoms which primary dysmenorrhea patients had.3. The comparison of the clinical efficacy:the total effective rate of Group A was 93.33%, and the total effective rate of Group B was 76.67%; that is, the treatment group was superior to the control group (P=0.043<0.05).ConelusionAccording to this trials’result, the way of moxibustion isolated by Chinese medicine has the significant improvement for primary dysmenorrhea patients’ overall symptoms, and its total effective rate is 93.33%, which is better than the Simple Moxibustion, and it is safe operation, painless and no toxic side effect; it could be the way to be popularized for curing primary dysmenorrhea in clinical. |
