ObjectivesTo observe the effect of Huangzhi oral liquid on ischemia modified albumin(IMA),malondialdehyde(MDA), superoxide dismutase(SOD) on acute myocardial infarction patients with PCI postoperative myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury and to explore the the protection of myocardial injury and possible mechanism of action.MethodsThe observation was used the prospective clinical research method.70 cases were randomly divided into two groups based on research standard:the treatment group and the control group.30ml of Huangzhi oral liquid were given on the treatment group before PCI and 10ml Huangzhi oral liquid three times a day after PCI. At the same time, the treatment group was given routine western medicine before and after PCI. When the patient was suffering from other diseases at the same time, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, medication was necessary according to the relevant guidelines. And then we tested the ischemia modified albumin(IMA), malondialdehyde(MDA) and superoxide dismutase(SOD) levels in the patients’blood, collected TCM syndrome score after and before PCI form the two groups.Results1. The treatment group and the control group showed no obvious changes of TCM syndrome score before PCI (P> 0.05). TCM syndrome score after PCI was decreased in the treatment group and the control group when compared with the score before PCI(P< 0.05).The score after PCI was decreased obviously in the treatment group when compared with the control group (P< 0.05).2.24 cases in the treatment group had marked effect,9 cases effectiveness and 2 cases had no effect, the total effective rate was 94.3%; In the control group,15 cases had marked effect,17 cases were valid, invalid in 3 cases, the total effective rate was 91.4%.3. Statistical differences were showed on MDA, SOD, IMA in the different times and groups. MDA, IMA and SOD levels had no statistically significant difference between the treatment group and the control group (P> 0.05). The MDA level of the two groups rose to the peak at postoperative 3 hours, then began to decline, fell to the lowest at postoperative 48 hours (P< 0.05);The treatment group had lower MDA level than the control group at various time points after PCI (P< 0.01). The SOD level of the two groups dropped to the lowest at postoperative 3 hours, then started to rise, reach peak at postoperative 48 hours (P< 0.05);The treatment group had higher SOD level than the control group at various time points after PCI(P< 0.01). IMA level of postoperative 3 hours in the treatment group reached to the peak, then the level dropped, fell to the lowest at postoperative 48 hours (P< 0.05);In the control group, postoperative 3 hours of IMA level reached to the peak, then the level dropped(P < 0.05), and the level of postoperative 48 hours reach to minimize (P> 0.05); The treatment group had lower IMA level than the control group at various time points after PCI(P< 0.05).ConclusionHuangzhi oral liquid shows preventive and protective effect on the patients with acute myocardial infarction who have successfully finished PCI. Early intervention is an effective method to prevent reperfusion injury. The possible mechanism is by increasing SOD, reducing the MDA to prevent the occurrence of myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury, thereby it can effectively improve the clinical symptoms, and provide the reference for the traditional Chinese medicine’s prevention and treatment to acute myocardial infarction postoperative myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury.
