The Effect Observation Of Oblique Pulling Manipulation Combined With Electric Acupuncture Therapy In Treating LDH

ObjectiveObserving the clinical effect of oblique pulling manipulation combined with electric acupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.MethodsWe elected 60 patients with lumbar disc herniation, meeting the inclusion criteria, from the rehabilitation department, the second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Guangdong province. The sufferers were randomly divided into observation group (30cases) and control group(30cases), a total of two groups. We adopted oblique pulling manipulation combined with electric acupuncture therapy in the observation group and electro-acupuncture therapy in the control group. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks, once a day and rest on Sunday, a total of 12 times. Finally, We used JOA low back pain scale to evaluate objectively the two groups of patients’ efficacy before treatment and after the last treatment. Using the SPSS 17.0 statistical software for data for statistical analysis.Results1、By the gender, age, course of the data for statistical analysis of two groups of cases, P>0.05, the results had no significant difference, suggesting comparable.2、 By comparison, two groups of patients before treatment in the score of subjective symptoms, clinical signs and activities of daily living limited,P >0.05, the results had no significant difference,suggesting comparable. Two groups of patients before and after treatment in JOA low back pain scale by the within group comparisons, P< 0.05, showing there was a significant difference. Two groups of patients in the treatment after the symptoms had improved compared with before treatment, and the markedly effective rate of observation group was better than that of control group. Comparison of JOA low back pain score two groups after treatment, P<0.01, there was a statistically significant difference. Comparison of two groups of JOA low back pain total score difference change before and after the treatment, variations in the difference of observation group was bigger, explaining the treatment effect of observation group was superior in the control group.3、In the score of subjective symptoms, clinical signs and activities of daily living limited, compared the two groups before and after treatment, P < 0.05, there was a statistically significant difference, suggesting treatments of the two groups were effective. In clinical signs’ score, compared the control group before and after treatment, P> 0.05, the results had no significant difference.It still can’t be believed the control group before and after treatment in the clinical signs had different scores, but the observation group had obvious effect. Difference change compared before and after treatment in both groups, the observation group were larger than the control group in the difference between the magnitude of the change. In improving the subjective symptoms, clinical signs and activities of daily living limited in patients with lumbar disc prolapse, that the effect of the observation group was better than the control group.ConclusionOblique pulling manipulation combined with electric acupuncture therapy and electro-acupuncture therapy have effect on lumbar disc herniation. Oblique pulling manipulation combined with electric acupuncture therapy which can obviously relieve the symptoms of patients with various aspects and improve the level of overall curative effect.
