Objective:Coronary slow flow phenomenon (CSFP) is an important, angiographic entity characterized by delayed progression of the contrast medium injected into the coronary tree. Since definition of this phenomenon in 1972 by Tambe, there has not been any clear-cut pathomechanism. CSF has normal coronary arteries, therefore precious studies have shown that microvascular dysfunction and endothelial dysfunction. Shedding of cell surface VEGFR-2 may lead to endothelial damage. Soluble VEGFR-2 is formed of the shedding of cell surface VEGFR-2, so this experiment, through the analysis the differences of serum sVEGFR-2 level in patients with CSF and normal control group, we focus on the underlying pathysiologial mechanisms of coronary slow phenomenon.Methods:1. materials:The study enroll 34 patients with angiographically proven normal coronary arteries and slow cornory flow (CSF group,18male,16 female),34subjects with normal coronary arteries and normal cotonary flow were enrolled as control group(20 male,14 female).2. methods:Coronary slow flow is defined according to Thrombolysis In Myocardial Infarction frame count(TIMI frame count, TFC). Serum levels of sVEGFR-2 are measured in all patients using ELISA method. The two sets of clinical data are compared which include age, sex, hypertension, diabetes, smoking history, blood glucose, BUN, Cr, Tch, TG, HDL, LDL. Correlation analysis is made using SPSS stastical software 21.0.Results:1. Based on experimental data, age, sex, hypertension, diabetes, smoking history, blood glucose, BUN, Cr, Tch, TG levels are similar in both groups. But the levels of LDL and HDL of patients with coronary slow flow are significantly lower than the normal group(P<0.01).2. The level of sVEGFR-2 of patients with coronary slow flow is significantly higher than the control group(P<0.01).3. Serum sVEGFR-2, HDL of all patients are detected to be significantly correlated with average TIMI frame count(r=0.573, P<0.01; r=-0.541, P<0.01). And sVEGFR-2 is also significantly related with HDL(r=-0.654, P<0.01). But The level of LDL has no significantly correlated with average TIMI frame count (r=-0.220, P=0.071).Conclusion:The level of sVEGFR-2 in CSF group is significant higher than the control group, that demonstrates that endothelial dysfunction take part in CSF. And coronary slow flow may related with the increased of sVEGFR-2, the level of sVEGFR-2 can used as a predictor of CSF.
