Objective:To reduce ABO type blood of red blood cell components cross matching mismatched events due to the reason of blood donors, and to avoid being sent to the clinical use of plasma through a more comprehensive blood group serology on blood from donorsMethods:1 The research objectsAll of the 65487 research samples come from center blood bank of Cangzhou city collected from the unpaid blood donors in 2014,The specimens were divided into two groups according to the acquisition time :The control group was from January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2014, which contained a total of 33046 cases. The experimental group was from July 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014, which contained a total of 32441 cases.2 Experimental methodsThe control group: ABO positive and negative stereotypes: finalizing the design of red blood cells and anti- A, anti- B reaction, the styling reagent A cells and B cells and plasma reaction. The experimental group : Were stereotypes of ABO: finalizing the design of red blood cells and anti- A- B resistance, anti- A1, anti- AB, anti- Ig G, C3d; The finalize the design of ABO, The A cells and B cells, S1, S2, S3 cells and blood plasma reaction. Results:Two groups of test method had significant difference in type A subtype(not including A2) detection rate. More subtype A could be detected in the experimental group. Two experimental methods had no significant difference in terms of the identification of subtype B and subtype AB. Two experimental methods had significant difference in terms irregular antibodies detection rate, and experimental group checked out more irregular antibodies blood donors who were positive in the experiment of direct anti globulin. Two groups of tests in clinical blood return had more significant differences, and the refund rate of the blood in experimental group testing had a significantly reduction compared with the control group testing. Conclusion:When doing positive and negative stereotypes of ABO,we could improve detection rate of subtype A(do not including subtype A2) through adding anti-A1, anti-AB in the positive stereotypes, and we could improve detection rate of Ig M irregular antibodies in the serum of blood donors through adding O cells and screening cells in the finalize ster- eotypes. The blood checked out by two groups test and the clinical refund rate of blood were more lower than the contorl group. We also checked out the blood whose direct anti globulin test was positive through the Direct anti globulin testing. So as to avoid of the phenomenon of main side agglutination but no Irregular antibody when doing the matching blood testing.
