This master’s dissertation is composed of four chapters. The chapter1 and 2 express the studies on chemical constituents of Retinervus Citri Fructus, Citri Reticulata Semen; The chapter 3 expresses the preliminary studies on hypoglycemic effect of Retinervus Citri Fructus; The last chapter summarizes the chemical constituents, pharmacological, clinical application of the Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, Endocarpium Citri Reticulatae Alha, Retinervus Citri Fructus, Citri Reticulata Semen.Twenty-two compounds were isolated and identified from the above two species of medicinal materials by various chromatographic methods: silica gel, Rp-18, sephadex LH-20, et al. These compounds are composed of flavonoids, limonoids, steroids, et al.Retinervus Citri Fructus is dry vascular bundies between the mesocarp and endocarp of Citrus reticulata Blanco. By use of various chromatography technology combining the purification technology, 13 compounds were isolated from the Retinervus Citri Fructus and identified via spectrum analysis. For respectively:5, 7, 4?-Trihydroxyflavanone(1), Hesperidin(2), Narirutin-4?-glucoside(3), Apigenin-6, 8-di-C-β-D-glucopyranoside(4), 5, 6, 7, 8, 3?, 4?-Hexamethoxyflavone(5), 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 3?, 4?-Heptamethoxyflavone(6), Limonin(7),(9R, 10 R, 7E)-6,9,10-Trihydroxyoctadec- 7-enoic acid(8), L-Tryptophan(9),(24R)-24-Ethyl-5α-cholestance-3β, 5α, 6β-triol(10), β-Sitosterol(11), Daucosterol(12), Stearic acid(13). Among them, the compounds 1, 3, 5, 12, 13 were isolated from this species for the first time.Citri Reticulatae Semen is dry mature semens of Citrus reticulata Blanco. By use of various chromatography technology combining the purification technology, 9 compounds were isolated from the Citri Reticulata Semen and identified via spectrum analysis. For respectively:Limonin(1), Limonexic acid(2), Obacunone(3), Nomilin(4), Deacetyl nomilin(5), adenosine(6), Hesperidin(7), β-Sitosterol(8), α-monopalmitin(9)。Among them, the compounds 2, 5, 6 were isolated from this species for the first time.Blood glucose levels must be maintained to guarantee the certain body organs and tissues. According to the reports, Retinervus Citri Fructus has the effect of decreasingblood glucose, and the flavonoids may be the effective components. But the hypoglycemic mechanism is not clear. By studying the inhibitory effect on alpha glucosidase of compounds obtained from Retinervus Citri Fructus, the compounds of 5, 7, 4?-Trihydroxyflavanone, Apigenin-6, 8-di-C-β-D-glucopyranoside, Narirutin 4?-glucoside, Hesperidin,(9R, 10 R, 7E)-6, 9, 10-Trihydroxyoctadec-7-enoic acid,(24R)-24-Ethyl-5α-cholestance-3β, 5α, 6β-triol have inhibitory effect on α-glucosidase.In chapter 4, a summary is given, including the chemical constituents, pharmacological, clinical application of the Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, Endocarpium Citri Reticulatae Alha, Retinervus Citri Fructus, Citri Reticulata Semen.
