ObjectiveAnemia is one of the most common complications of middle-late stage malignant tumor patients. Anemia is a series of tiredness as the main performance of the clinical syndrome. Patients with chronic anemia can reduce confidence in continuing treatment, also reduce the patients quality of life, further influence the effectiveness of cancer treatment. TCM holds that cancer-related anemia patients suffer from this important pathogenesis of the spleen kidney deficiency, Disorder of qi and blood. This study combined herb paired by Efficacy of "Tonifying spleen and renal and yiqiyangxue" and erythropoietin (EPO) subcutaneous injection in the treatment of cancer-related anemia, observe combine traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment efficacy and safety of cancer-related anemia.Methods60 cases Ⅲ～Ⅳ malignant tumor with anemia caused by chemotherapy Were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,29 people of treatment group and 31 people of control group. There was no statistical differences from two groups of patients in gender, age, primary tumor types, TNM staging, prior chemotherapy drug usage, etc. The control group use EPO 10000 iu subcutaneous injection treatment 3 times a week. We adopt "yangxuetang" treatment group patients on the basis of use the same method treated in erythropoietin with the control group patients. In accordance with the Weekly routine blood, reticulocyte examination, liver function, renal function examination, We observed a consecutive month. Comparing the two groups before and after the treatment level of hemoglobin, red blood cell count, erythrocyte hematocrit, reticulocyte count, clinical symptoms integral, carr’s score, the change of weight, adverse reaction and other indicators.Results1. Chemotherapy anemia in patients with anemia classification is class I toxicity.2. Traditional Chinese medicine combined EPO treatment group in 1 week, 2 weeks,3 weeks,4 weeks curative effect is better than that of pure EPO treatment control group3. In terms of the effect of correction of anemia, traditional Chinese medicine combined EPO treatment group of qi and blood syndrome, spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome curative effect is superior to other card(P<0.05).4. Score of Patients’s KPS in "yangxuetang" joint EPO treatment group was better than patients in the pure EPO group (P<0.05).5. In improving clinical syndrome integral in traditional Chinese medicine combined EPO is superior to the pure EPO group (P<0.05).6. Two groups before and after treatment in patients with primary lesion had no obvious change(P<0.05).Conclusion1. Patients with anemia caused by chemotherapy is given priority to with moderate anemia; the more see spleen and kidney deficiency and qi deficiency syndrome on syndrome classification.
