| ObjectiveTo observe the effect of tonifying Qi, promoting blood circulation and removing phlegm treat COPD patients with Lung and spleen-deficiency and the expression level of IL-8, and the act on cytokines and airway remodeling of the COPD Mouse from the viewpoint of molecular biology and pathology. Explore the acting mechanisms further. Provide an another Chinese therapy for COPD. And then, The modern development of TCM can own theory support.Methods1. The clinical research selection:The study includ 40 COPD patients with Lung and spleen-deficiency, devide into treatment group and control group randomly.The treatment group are treated with chemical drugs and Chinese medicine. Observe symptoms change and create the symptom integral tables during the course of therapy. Take notes during the course and measure the level of IL-8 in Blood plasma. When get all datas, start the statistical analysis.2. Animal study selection:30 SD male rats were randomly divided into 3 groups:the model groupã€the normal group〠the tonifying Qi, promoting blood circulation and removing phlegm group. Establish COPD rat model by intratracheal instillation of LPS and exposure to cigarette smoking daily. Each group was administrated from the fourth day of molding, once a day, medication for 30 days. ELISA method to measure the content of cytokine IL-8 and TNF-a in blood plasma, AQP5 and MUC5AC in BALF.Results1.The clinical research selection:(1)Before the start of the treatment, the TCM syndrome integrals of the two group have statisticalsignificance(P>0.05). After the treatment, the control group have nostatistical significance in TCM syndrome integrals on cough, expectoration, puffand pant. The treatment group have statistical significance in TCM syndrome integrals on every clinical manifestation. There were significant differences between the treatment group and the control group after the treatment. (2) Before the start of the treatment, There were no significant differences between the serum IL-8 of the two groups of patients (P>0.05). After the treatment, the differences have statistical significance, and the treatment group was more apparent. 2. Animal study selection:Rats in the tonifying Qi, promoting blood circulation and removing phlegm group have lower level of IL-8 and TNF-α. and reduce the level of MUC5AC in lung tissue. and BALF. The differences have statistical significance.Conclusion1. The management of tonifying Qi, promoting blood circulation and removing phlegm can improve clinical symptoms of the patients with Lung and spleen-deficiency.2. The management of tonifying Qi, promoting blood circulation and removing phlegm can lower the level of IL-8 and the treatment group was more apparent.3. Rats in the tonifying Qi,promoting blood circulation and removing phlegm group have lower level of IL-8 and TNF-α. and reduce the level of MUC5AC in lung tissue. The acting mechanisms of the management of tonifying Qi, promoting blood circulation and removing phlegm can improve clinical symptoms may relate to lower serum inflammatory factors’expression. The acting mechanisms are worth of further study. |
