Object: Through observing the changing of serum and uterus tissue inflammatory cytokines in rats with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease caused by the influence of Yanhuang Gynecological Inflammation Table, explore the anti-inflammatory action mechanism of Yanhuang Gynecological Inflammation Table in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and provide experimental foundation and theoretical basis for treating chronic pelvic inflammation disease by TCM therapy.Method: Randomly select 10 rats form 70 SD female rats as normal control group,and 10 as sham-operated group, and process the left 50 rats by phenol mucilage and successfully set model rats with chronic pelvic inflammation disease. After that,randomly divide the 50 rats into model group, Yanhuang Gynecological Inflammation Table-H group, Yanhuang Gynecological Inflammation Table-M group, Yanhuang Gynecological Inflammation Table-L group and Fuke Qianjin Tablet group. After 30 days of TCM treatment, get the uterine and serum tissue of rats. Observe and grade the pathological changes in rats’ uterus tissue through HE staining glass, and calculate the organ coefficient, swelling rate and inhibition rate of the rats; detect the concentrations of serum anti-inflammatory cytokines IL-10, inflammatory cytokines MCP-1 of the rats by euzyme-linked immunization assay; and detect the expression of NF-κB, ICAM-l of the rats uterine tissues.Results: compare the following values of model group with normal control group:uterus pathological grading, rats’ viscera coefficient, the concentrations of serum IL-10 and MCP-1, the mean density of uterus tissue NF-κB and ICAM-l. The results are highly statistically significant(P<0.01); the comparing results of uterus pathological grading and rat uterus swelling rate between Yanhuang Gynecological Inflammation Table-L group and model group are statistically significant(P<0.05),and the comparing results of uterus tissue pathological grading and rat uterus swelling rate between TCM treatment group and model group are highly statistically significant(P<0.01). The comparing results of viscera coefficient, concentration of serum IL-10 and MCP-1, and the mean density of uterus tissue NF-κB and ICAM-l between all TCM treatment groups and model group are highly statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion: Yanhuang Gynecological Inflammation Table can obviously reduce endometrium inflammation infiltration in rat’s cells, uterus swelling and hyperemia,uterine cavity effusion, and pelvic adhesion of surrounding tissue. It also can promote the proliferation restoration of pathologically changing epithelial cells and promote the recovery of uterus shape to effectively treat chronic pelvic inflammatory disease in rats. The treating mechanism of Yanhuang Gynecological Inflammation Table upon chronic pelvic inflammatory disease may be ① through increasing the expression of IL-10 and reducing the expression of inflammatory cytokine MCP-1 to achieve the balance between inflammatory cytokines and proinflammatory cytokines, enhance immune function, promote the recovery of uterus shape to effectively treat chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, reduce congestion of inflammation, edema and inflammatory cell infiltration. ② Inhibit the expression of NF-κB and reduce the expression levels of rat ICAM-l. Hereby inhibit the release of inflammatory mediators and adhesion damage of tissue, as well as inhibit the formation of fibrous tissue and scarring. Thus inhibit the pathological development of inflammation.
