Objective fo evaluate the value of digital moiybdenum target mammograpny in diagnosing and intensify mammographic characteristics by the standard of Breast Imaging and Data System (BI-RADS), so as to improve the knowledge of the detection and evaluation of the breast cancer in women. Methods The X-ray characters of the breast cancer in 2145 subjects were retrospectively described according to BI-RADS developed by American College of Radiology, and those subjects with the breast cancer confirmed by pathology were analysed in clinical stage and age range. Nighty-four cases, confirmed by surgery or biopsy, were analysed in X-ray appearances, clicnical manifestation, age stage, body mass index, etc. Results (1)In 2310 cases,20(0.87%) cases were clinical stage 0,321(13.90%) cases were clinical stage 1,1105(47.84%) cases were clinical stage 2,594(25.71%) cases were clinical stage 3,179(7.75%) cases were clinical stage 4a,52(2.25%) cases were clinical stage 4b,21(0.91%) cases were clinical stage 4c, and 18(0.78%) cases were clinical stage 5. (2)Nighty-four cases were confirmed by surgery or biopsy:54 (57.45%) cases were benign,40 cases (42.55%) were malignant. X-ray appeared as masses in 16 cases(40.0%), masses with calcification in 14 cases(35.0%), asymmetry increased density in 5 cases(12.5%), pure calcification in 5 cases(12.5%), structural disorder in 13 cases(32.5%), among 40 malignant cases. Conclusion In mammography, the standard of BI-RADS plays an important role in differential diagnosis of benign malignant breast diseases.
