Objective:To explore the clinical value of Ultrasound elastography(UE) to assist conventional ultrasonography(US) diagnosis in breast cancer.Methods:A retrospective analysis involves 100 breast tumor patients(a total of 182 masses) from clinical data during March 2013 to June 2014 in our hospital,Jilin university first hospital and tumor hospital,respectively. All patients had Mammography, US, UE and biopsy results.Above all patient’ Mammography, US, UE and UE combined US results were analyzed with the pathology results for the purpose of comparison.Result:Pathology results: 47 malignant tumors: 28 infiltrating ductal carcinoma(15.4%), 6 infiltrating lobular carcinoma(3.2%), 3 medullary carcinoma(1.6%), 5 mucous adenocarcinoma(2.7%), 4 carcinoma in situ(2.1%), 1 myoepithelial carcinoma(0.5%). 135 benign tumors: 83 fibroadenoma(45.6%), 31 breast adenosis(17.0%), 5 breast tuberculosis(2.7%),10 intraductal papilloma(5.5%), 6 benign leaf tumor(3.4%). US diagnosis: BI-RADS 2 level of 47, level 3 of 97, 4 a grade of 6, 4b grade of 13, 4 c level of 15, 5 level of 4, sensitivity of 84.2%, specific degree of 89.6% and accuracy rate of 88.5%. UE diagnosis and pathology results:1 point of 2, two points of 52,three points of 91, 4 points of 33, 5 points of 4, sensitivity of 73.0%, specific degree of 86.2% and accuracy rate of 83.5%. X-ray mammography in the diagnosis results: direct signs of 47 lump, indirect signs 51 lump, with sensitivity of 85.7%, specific degree of 92.1% and the accuracy of 90.6%. Ultrasonic joint diagnosis result:total score 3 of 1, 4 points of 14, 5 points of 69, 6 points55, 7 points of 13, eight points of 24, 9 points of 5, 10 points 1, sensitivity of 93.0%,specific degree 94.9%, accuracy rate of 93.9%. Jointed examinatin indicates that the area under the ROC curve is higher than a single inspection, P < 0.05, the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:UE combined US examination methods to make up for the shortcomings of single conventiaonal ultrasound,which can effectively enhance the accuracy of ultrasound class in breast cancer diagnosis.
