The related pharmaceutical technologies were applied to herbal preparation and boomed the innovation of theory on preparing Chinese crude drugs.Manufacturing processes were inherited and developed in an all-round way. Besides, doctors and schools schematized the formula theories. Zhang Congzheng expatiated the usage of water for decoction and application of it for the therapies of sweating, emesis, and purgation. Li Gao and Zhu Zhenheng put forward their own viewpoints on pill excipients. Qi Dezhi discussed that the different formulations should be applied according to different diseases locations for exogenous injury diseases.Grasped pills, palm moxibustion and navel therapy etc. extended the utility of classical formula.
