| Objective:To investigate the prevalence,clinical characteristics, laboratory findings and treatment outcome of brucellosis in Xinjiang.Method:Clinical features and therapeutic effect were analyzed in117 patients with brucellosis admitted to our hospital from July.2012 to April.2014.Results:Collected 117 cases of brucellosis in patients with a mean age of 40.67±12.25 years,of which 79.49% were male to female ratio was 3.86:1, the region brucellosis with 4-9 month high, the incidence of scattered areas, but the main Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture(26 cases), Tacheng(22 cases) mainly farmers and herdsmen,accounting for 56.41%,and the livestock-related accounted for 11.11%, the main clinical manifestations fever (80.34%),sweating (39.32%), fatigue (50.43%), arthralgia (24.79%) and other general symptoms, some patients hepatomegaly (14.53%), splenomegaly (36.75%), lymphadenopathy(35.04%), laboratory examination of patients erythrocyte sedimentation rate (79.49%), Procalcitonin (77.78%), C-reactive protein (55.56%) increased biochemical tests in ALT(46.15%), AST (43.60%) and elevated y-GT(45.3%) increased, treatment with dosycycline combined with rifampin-based, or in combination with aminoglycosides or quinolones one, the general course of six weeks, the treatment of 97.44%improvement.Conclusions:Brucellosis is a more frequent infectious disease in Xinjiang, so it is emphasized to strengthen the immunization of livestock related personnel, local authorities should spread brucellosis protection knowledge, Clinical characteristics of brucellosis are constantly changing, Clinicians should focus on its complications and comorbidities, and standard antimicrobial therapy. |
