Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of ZI-SHEN-ROU-GAN in the treatmentof elderly patients with isolated systolic hypertension and the intervention effect of largeartery elasticityMethods:80patients were randomly divided into two groups, two groups weretreated with standard anti hypertensive treatment, the treatment group (40cases) withnourishing the kidney and liver, the control group (40cases) and placebo granule, consulting room, blood pressure were observed before and after treatment (CBPM),brachial ankle pulse wave velocity (brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity BAPWV) and theclinical symptoms associated with the intervention effect.Results:1. after2months of standardized combination antihypertensive drugtreatment, two groups of patients with blood pressure were effectively controlled, the levelof blood pressure decrease smoothly. SBP, DBP and PP were significantly decreased(P<0.01); the two groups before and after treatment of brachial ankle pulse wave velocitydecreased significantly (P<0.01), inter group comparison test group decreased significantlythan the control group (P<0.05), test group shows a lower blood pressure and relieve thelarge artery stiffness, improve arterial compliance.2.Before and after the2test groups withsymptom integral comparison, except "before and after the treatment of insomniaforgetful" symptom scores were significant difference (P<0.05); the control group beforeand after treatment with symptom integral comparison, only dizziness and tinnitustreatment had significant difference (P<0.05), no statistically significant differencebetween the other symptoms (P>0.05). After treatment with the symptoms and signs werecompared between groups, the experimental group on the "waist""dizzy" tongue "pulse" issignificantly better than the control group (P<0.01), there was statistical significance. Conclusion: Treatment of isolated systolic hypertension in the elderly, by reducing the tube wall stiffness, improve arterial elasticity, relieve the clinical symptoms, andimprove the prognosis of elderly ISH.
