| Objective: By observing the concentration changes of tumor necrosisfactor-α(TNF-α) and interleukin–1β (IL-1β) in pulmonary fibrosis ratsmodel after whom has been given Chaihushenshitang, and compared withprednisone acetate (prednisone)’s role, thus study is to explore the curativeeffect and mechanism of Chaihushenshitang in curing pulmonary fibrosisdisease, and to provide the experimental basis for its clinical application.Methods:90healthy male Wistar rats were randomly divided into blank controlgroup, model control group, Prednisone Group, Chaihushenshitang soup andChaihushenshitang+Prednisone Group, so18in each group. All rats weremodeled with endotracheal bleomycin injected, and since the2ndday, they arerespectively intragastric administrated with physiological saline or druguntil the end of the experiment. The rat is put to death at days14and28in batch. We will observe the lung tissue’s pathology changes after theirHE staining, and detect rat serum’s TNF-α β and IL-1content by sandwichELISA method. The results is dealed with SPSS statistics17.0. Results: Thepathology changes of rat lung tissue observed show the copy of pulmonaryfibrosis model successful. Compared with blank control group, all model group’s TNF-α and IL-1β in rat serum raised to different extent (p <0.05).Compared with model control group, the two factors in all treatmentgroups’ rat serum are lower, with significant difference (p <0.05), and ofwhich the Chaihushenshitang+Prednisone Group appears the lowest factorconcentration and Prednisone Group appears no significant difference toChaihushenshitang Group. There is interaction between ChaihushenshitangGroup and Prednisone Group. Conclusions: Chaihushenshitang could improvepulmonary fibrosis rat model’s symptoms and their lung tissue’s pathology.Also it could reduce the TNF-α and IL-1βconcentration in those model’sserum. It is supposed that Chaihushenshitang has a certain therapeutic effectto pulmonary fibrosis in rats by lower the expression of TNF-α and IL-1β,and it works better if combined with prednisone. |
