ObjectiveChronic poisoning caused by lead and its compounds is an important healthproblems and a serious threat to people’s labor occupation. In this study, through theinvestigation on the health status and occupation population concentration levels oflead and its compounds in workplace of a lead-acid battery factory, analysis of eachyear occupation workers health status, operating personnel, blood lead level, influential factors and the effect of lead and its compounds on the concentration ofblood lead level of workers, and provide basis for the supervision department ofoccupation health supervision and law enforcement for more effective publicity, andprevention of occupation health knowledge to provide the basis.Observation Object and Methods1investigation objectInvestigation of2009-2013in a lead-acid battery factory work front-line workers, and determination of the concentration of lead and its compounds in the air ofworkplace each position of the enterprise in2013.2investigation contentInvestigation of contact lead workers generally include age, gender, occupation, post exposure years; occupation health examination content operation personnelincluding clinical symptoms, physical signs, blood biochemical index,(Bultrasoundimaging examination, high kV X-ray) and blood lead concentration measurement.Determination of lead and its compounds in workplace air concentrations of acidcharging, plate workshop, assembly workshop, sulfuric acid purification, otherworkshop filling choice for the enterprise to produce lead dust or smoke lead to. Atthe same time carries on the investigation to the workshop ventilation facilities.3statistical method The results of the survey by chi square SPSS17.0software test, multiple groupsof rank data comparison of the rank sum test for processing. Statistical inspectionlevel alpha=0.05.ResultsIn this survey,2009-2013year in a lead-acid battery factory work operationspersonnel1119people. Occupational exposure age greater than20years of operatingpersonnel change ratio is not obvious, the number of10-20years of reduced year byyear, less than10years in2009to14people accounted for7.14%,2010for46peopleaccounted for20.91%,2011for86people accounted for34.96%, three yearsincreased year by year. The number of workers stable acid filling charging and sulfuric acid purificationworkshop basically unchanged; in2010,2011the number increased obviously; andthe increase in2011the largest number plate workshop. Results the operation staff of blood lead and clinical examination,2010-2011years working personnel of blood lead abnormal rate was significantly higher thanthat of other years (P<0.05), and occurrence of mild and severe occupational leadpoisoning cases, mainly concentrated in the occupational exposure for less than10years of operating personnel, followed by occupational exposure period of10-20years of operating personnel; in2013, the abnormal rate of blood lead decreasedsignificantly P<0.05) level mainly lead absorption.Except for2009, each year between the blood lead test results of sex and age(P<0.05).Occupational exposure workers of different ages in the blood lead test resultshowed that,2009-2010years, contact with lead length of service, blood lead thehigher abnormal rate (P<0.05), but in2011-2012years, the operation staff blood leadlow seniority of the abnormal rate increased (P<0.05), and in2013began to drop(P<0.05).Workplace air. Determination of lead and its compounds with higherconcentration of blood lead the higher abnormal rate (P<0.05), B ultrasoundabnormalities rate were higher (P<0.05). Good ventilation condition of workplacescan significantly reduce the concentration of lead and its compounds in the air. ConclusionThe occupational health examination and blood lead workers exposed to lead theabnormal rate had no difference in gender and age, and is closely related to leadexposure concentration and exposure duration in workplace. Ventilation facilitiesrunning whether have obvious influence on the effective workplace lead and itscompounds concentration. Lead in blood is a sensitive index for occupationalpopulation exposed to lead and inorganic compounds.
