Objective:To investigate the changes of serum Ang-2concentration in coronary heart disease patients after PCI, and study the relationship between declining degree of Angiopoietin-2(Ang-2) concentration and with the clinical data.METHODS:Excluding valvular heart disease, congenital heart disease, infection, autoimmune disease and cancer, selecting61patients of coronary heart disease as the intervention group, and the intervention group was divided into Grade0, Grade1, Grade2and Grade3based on the coronary collateral circulation classification. Another32healthy cases were randomly selected as control group. All serum samples of each case were collected for later testing. Applying ELISA method to measure the collected serum Ang-2concentration. Finally, analyzing and processing data with SPSS19.0. RESULTS:1. Ang-2concentrations in intervention group was significantly higher than control group (3878.47±2328.76pg/ml vs1945.74±1588.17pg/ml, P=0.000).2. Ang-2concentrations of intervention decreased dramatically after PCI(3040.24±2242.01pg/ml vs3878.47±2328.76pg/ml, P=0.000).3. Ang-2concentration of Grade1was significantly highest compared with Grade2, but not with other subgroups.4. There was no significant correlation between declining degree of Ang-2concentration and Gensini score (P=0.754)CONCLUSION:1. Ang-2in patients with CHD was significantly elevated.2. PCI made Ang-2decrease in patients with CHD.3. Mild coronary collateral circulation had a higher level of Ang-2than moderate coronary collateral circulation.4. The declining degree of Ang-2was independent with the severity of coronary stenosis.
