Apply Data Mining Technology To Research The Characteristics Of The Syndrome And The Rule Of The Diagnosis And Treatment Of The Small Qinglong Decoction Syndrome

Objective：The small qinglong decoction is first recorded in The theory of typhoidmiscellaneous disease and is widely applied in the clinical. It is recognized as arepresentative prescriptions of treating the outside cold in the fiuid-retention syndrome.The method of data mining was applies in this study to deal with and analysis the smallqinglong decoction syndrome modern basis, to explore the syndrome characteristic and therule of the diagnosis and treatment of the small qinglong decoction syndrome, and toestablishe model for the small qinglong decoction syndrome clinical disease in accordancewith the syndrome characteristic and the rule of the diagnosis.This research results arebeneficial to bitterly use the small qinglong decoction, to verify and improve its clinicalvalue.Methods：Firetly, retrieving and cllecting all of the information about the small qinglongdecoction syndrome in China journal full-text database (CNKI) and Chinese science andtechnology periodical database (VIP) between January1,1979and June1,2012.Secondly,putting the medical record after the adoption of standards and standardization to the smallqinglong decoction syndrome basis database which was established according to the studyrequest in advance.Thirdly, applying the data mining method of association rules to dealwith and analysis the information about the small qinglong decoction syndromewhich wascolected in the first step, then to obtain the syndrome characteristic and the rule of thediagnosis and treatment of the small qinglong decoction syndrome.There were tow partsfor data mining in this study.The first step was aimed at getting the basic diagnosis andtreatment characteristics of the small qinglong decoction syndrome, by each attributefrequency statistics for the characteristics of the database basis,including syndrome,diseases, symptoms, tongue and pulse, medication. The second step mainly was aimed atusing association rules mining to obtain the corresponding rules form each importantattributes in the database and the result of frequency statisticsResults：It had two parts of research results of the syndrome characteristic and the rule ofthe diagnosis and treatment of the small qinglong decoction syndrome. The result of thefirst part was:(1)The characteristics of disease’s kind: respiratory system diseases was themain disease types, such as chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, upper respiratory tract infection, etc.(2)The characteristics of symptoms: the chief complaint was given priority towith cough, cough and gasp,;General symptoms was aversion to cold, bosom frowsty,NaCha, less god, fever, etc.; The symptoms of respiratory system disease was the majorityof cough, cough up phlegm, asthma, wheezing, shortness of breath, etc; The symptoms ofThe digestive system disease mainly was belching, nausea and retching, hiccups, etc.(3)The characteristics of tongue and pulse: The color of the tongue was given priority to withlight; Moss was given priority to with white; Pulse was mostly seen string-likepulse,,slippery pulse, floating pulse, sunken pulse, thready pulse, rapid pulse, tight pulse,moderate pulse, which can be only seen or multiply seen.(4) The characteristics ofsyndrome characteristics: The nature of the disease was given priority to with cold,following with heat and deficiency; drinks are in the majority of the pathological factors,phlegm and blood stasis was a small number; lesions was mostly in the lungs, following instomach, spleen, kidney, liver, etc.(5) The characteristics of medication: Give priority towith the original party.Ephedra is the most likely removed.The drugs which werecommonly added to the original party was poria cocos, almond, atractylodes, gypsum,semen lepidii, dried tangerine or orange peel, etc. the original party was applied priorityto,when a patient saw a doctor in the second time. The result of the second part was:(1)Apply association rules to analyse the relationship between syndrome, disease, medicinesand curative effect for gasp syndrome,then build a model out of the disease.these patientswho had this disease belong to the syndrome that outside cold actuates inside olddrink.They were more with asthma cough, cough up phlegm as the primary symptom,.Thetreatment of them was given priority to with the original party,which was more addedalmonds and poria cocos, etc. The number of the original prescription was between oneand nine.(2) Apply association rules to analyse the correlation between disease anddrug,then get the antidote to cough of ephedra, cassia twig and dried ginger.(3) Applyassociation rules to analyse the correlation between drug and drug,then obtain the highestsupport which contains asarum and pinellia, cassia twig, asarum and pinellia tuber;thehighest confidence which contains ephedra and pinellia, asarum, pinellia and fructusschisandrae.Conclusion：The research results of this study were comprehensive specific and clearcompared with the previou on the syndrome,which was analysed from three aspects,such as the nature of the disease, pathological factors and lesions. The syndrome wassummarized as "cold drink effects lung", and is specific divided into " outside cold actuatesinside old drink " and "outside cold mixswith new drink";The research results in the secondpart made a breakthrough at the predecessors’ research results about the small qinglongdecoction, established a disease model of gasp syndrome, and obtained the specific drug tocough, at the same time got the common drug combination for the prescription of the smallqinglong decoction,through the analysis of the "support" and "confidence".
