For the treatment of lead poisoning, the general use is EDTA and so on. However, these drugs will be difficult for mild lead poisoning, and a lot of problems will appear in the process of using, because they have a certain degree of toxicity. Research indicates that the mild lead poisoning can be treated with calcium and VC, E, B2. At present, the development of a drug for the treatment and prevention of lead poisoning is extremely important.First part:study of Fuzheng Jiedu Granules on the lead expelling effect in rats.To study effects of Fuzheng Jiedu Granules on the lead poisoning rats, rats were randomly divided by weight into nine groups including negative control group, lead poisoning model group, positive control group, and low, medium, high dose treatment and prevention groups. The5%lead acetate was given to rats by stomach perfusion method for poisoning. The test substance was given to rats through stomach everyday. Three months later, rats were killed and the concentrations of lead in blood, liver and femur were determined. The results show that Fuzheng Jiedu Granules could significantly reduce the cencentration of lead in blood, liver and femur in rats. The Fuzheng Jiedu Granules is effective in eliminating lead from rats.Second part:study of Fuzheng Jiedu Granules on the lead expelling effect in mice.To study effects of Fuzheng Jiedu Granules on the lead poisoning mice, mice were randomly divided by weight into nine groups including negative control group, lead poisoning model group, positive control group, and low, medium, high dose treatment and prevention groups. The0.2%lead acetate was abdominally injected to mice for poisoning. The test substance was given to rats through stomach everyday. Thirty days later, mice were killed and the concentrations of lead in blood, liver and femur were determined. The results show that Fuzheng Jiedu Granules could significantly reduce the cencentration of lead in blood, liver and femur in mice. The Fuzheng Jiedu Granules is effective in eliminating lead from mice.The dried root of Peucedanum as an important Chinese herbal medicine, is used to dispel wind and remove heat, relieve cough mand resolve phlegm. Peucedanum Harry-smithii var Subglabrum is characteristics herbs from GanSu, and as a substitute for genuine peucedanum. But its chemical composition and pharmacological activity has not been reported in literature.Third part:A high performance liquid chromatographic method was established for the simultaneous determination of four coumarins in Peucedanum harry-smithii var subglabrum. The correlation coefficients were0.9983-0.9993in the linear range. The RSD of the method was less than2.88%. The average recoveries ranged from96.7%to104.0%. The method is simple, rapid, accurate., and can be used for the quality control of Chinese medicine Peucedanum harry-smithii var subglabrum.
