| Objective:A survey about reproductive health was carried out on reproductivemale workers in a city, to discuss reproductive health status and its influencing factors,for further scientific targeted interventions.Methods:The study recruited4000male works by simple random sampling.Using the self-made questionnaire "Male workers Reproductive Health Questionnaire"and "Male workers Health Examination Table" to investigate and analyze reproductivemale reproductive health education, reproductive system disorders, birth control andother reproductive health status of infertility and its influencing factors.Results:The total rate of reproductive male reproductive system knowledge is34.63%, which the clinical symptoms of the reproductive system diseases awarenessonly19.91%.Reproductive system symptoms positive rate was higher for50.65percent, mainly positive symptoms are severe lower back pain or persistent swellingpain.There is1.65%of male infertility. Varicocele, benign prostatic hyperplasia,prostatitis prevalence rates were9.61%,18.28%,14.59%.Different age groups(F=161.90,P<0.001),marital status(F=4.46,P=0.004),educational level (F=126.86,P<0.001), occupation(F=10.40,P<0.001), healthinsurance situation (F=11.56,P<0.001), the monthly per capita income(F=57.09,P<0.001),smoking status(F=8.80,P<0.001),drinking(F=6.74,P=0.001),whether the night shift(t=2.45,P=0.015) are significant difference in reproductivehealth knowledge.Marital status(F=5.06,P=0.002), educational level(F=18.56,P<0.001), healthinsurance(F=3.70,P=0.005), the monthly per capita income(F=13.86,P<0.001), drinkTea(F=3.16,P=0.042), internet using in the past30days(F=11.53,P <0.001), in thepast30days a week to eat vegetables and fruits(F=5.35, P=0.001), in the past30daysa week to eat fish/lean/poultry(F=9.87, P<0.001), in the past30days weekly eat milkand its products(F=3.16, P=0.024), in the past30days a week to eat more salty foods (F=3.47, P=0.016), in the past30days a week to eat sweets foods (F=3.85, P=0.009), dietary bias(F=13.17,P<0.001), eating fast-food(F=30.54,P<0.001), driving a car (t=-22.63,P=0.009), in the past30days sadness/depression/irritability and other mood (F=26.43,P<0.001), working pressure (F=8.52,P<0.001), economic pressure (F=10.44,P<0.001), their physical condition (F=19.31,P<0.001), conjugal relations (F=9.71,P<0.001), whether have children (t=2.18, P=0.029), whether the night shift (t=4.27,P<0.001) are related with reproductive symptom scores. Knowledge score is negatively correlated with reproductive system symptoms scores (spearman=-0.12, P<0.001). Attitude score is negatively correlated with reproductive system symptoms scores (spearman=-0.07, P<0.001).Age is positively correlated with reproductive system symptom score (spearman=0.17, P<0.001). Mean diastolic blood pressure is positively correlated with reproductive system symptoms score (spearman=0.04, P=0.001). Conclusions:Reproductive male reproductive situation is not optimistic. The total rate of reproductive male reproductive system knowledge is34.63%. Reproductive system symptoms positive rate was higher for50.65%. There is1.65%of male infertility. Varicocele, benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostatitis prevalence rates are9.61%,18.28%,14.59%.Factors that affect the male reproductive system symptoms include age, education level, medical insurance, monthly per capita income, tea case, nearly30days online, the diet of nearly30days of driving circumstances, the mood of nearly30days, the working pressure, economic pressure, current physical health, frequency of sexual activity, contraceptive methods, B-ultrasound prostate, reproductive health knowledge to understand the situation; infertility factors influence fasting glucose, prostate B super, age, diet bias, nearly30days eating fresh fruits and vegetables, the frequency of sexual activity, contraceptive methods; varicocele factors are age, whether the night shift, whether children, low-density lipoprotein levels; influencing factors age of benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostate B super, nearly30days times fresh fruits and vegetables, the body mass index; prostatitis factors are age, drinking situation, health, marital relationship, whether night shift, lipoprotein levels, the use of fast-food situation.There are good ways to promote male reproductive health by strengthening the social emphasis on male fertility, health education, poor lifestyle interventions, exploring the community of male reproductive health services and the strengthening of the management of sexually transmitted diseases and health. |
