Treatment Of Type2Diabetes Mellitus Associated With Hyperlipemia By Spleen Strenthering Phlegm Dissipating Stasis Removing Therapy

Objective：The problem aims at observing the clinical effect on Type2diabeteshyperlipidemia treated with the therapy of strengthening the spleen, eliminating phlegmand activating blood circulation.Methods:97cases of patients were chosen according to the standard of Type2diabetes hyperlipidemia，which includes60outpatients and37patients in the ward. All thepatients were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group of65cases(combination of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine group) werematched up two-to-one with the comparison group of32cases（Western medicine grope）.Both two groups were given diabetes education, dietary management, moderate exerciseand other basic treatment. Observation was taken and clinical effect was evaluated after8weeks’ treatment, we recorded the blood glucose, blood lipid (total cholesterol [TC], lowdensity lipoprotein cholesterol [LDL-C], high density lipoprotein cholesterol [HDL-C],triglycerides [TG]), glycated hemoglobin, insulin levels, body mass index, insulinsensitivity index and TCM syndrome scoring before and after the treatment. Then weorganized the data for statistical analysis.Result: Blood glucose, blood lipid(TG、TC、HDL-C、LDL-C), glycated hemoglobin,insulin levels, body mass index, insulin sensitivity index and TCM syndrome scoringwere all obviously improved after treatment in both gropes. But the effects oftreatment group is much better than that of the Western medicine in improving TG,HDL-C、LDL-C，2h postprandial blood glucose level, insulin sensitivity index andTCM syndrome scoring.（p＜0.05）Conclusion: The therapy of strengthening the spleen, eliminating phlegm and activating blood circulation can obviously improve the clinical symptoms and signs ofType2diabetes hyperlipidemia patients. The investigation shows that the therapy abovementioned has excellent therapeutic effects on the treatment of the disease, and it alsoreflects the dialectical function and its unique advantage over Western medicine in thetreatment of the disease.
