Objects: This study clarifies the mechanism of moxibustion to the regulation ofsub-health state through observing the changes of blood cell and microcirculation seriesof young and middle-aged people under sub-health after operating moxibustion onacuppoints.Methods: After a medical screening, select37young and middle-aged volunteers ofsub-healthy:11male,26female. Use moxibustion apparatus with moxa rollmoxibustion,operating on the accupoints of Shenshu,Guanyuan,and the double points ofZusanli, Pishu, Shenshu for20minutes every time, every other day, and do the comparisonafter10times of moxibustion. Before and after moxibustion, extraction2ml venous bloodof every volunteer is needed for the examination of red blood cells and white blood cellsseries. Microcirculation detection adopts the method of dynamic observation ofmicro-circulation tester, testing before moxibustion, and after3times, six times,10times,15days respectively.Results:1.After moxibustion,5of the white series7indicators of the sub-health youthappeared significant difference (P﹤0.01, or P﹤0.05), in which the WBC, NEUT, MID,MID (%) were higher while the LYM is a bit lower. The WBC, MID, MID (%) has verysignificant statistical significance (P﹤0.01). NEUT, LYM (%) has significant statisticalsignificance (P﹤0.05).There was no significant difference for LYM and NEUT (%)(P>0.05).Eight index of erythrocyte series9indicators appeared significant difference (P﹤0.01, or P﹤0.05), RBC, HCT, RDW were elevated, HGB, MCV, MCH, MCHC and MPVare reduced. RBC, HGB, MCV, MCH, MCHC and MPV has very significant statisticalsignificance (P﹤0.01), and HCT has significant statistical significance (P﹤0.05), therewas no significant difference of PLT (P>0.05).2.After moxibustion,2of the white series7indicators of the sub-health middle-agedgroup appeared significant difference (P﹤0.01, or P>0.05), in which the LYM, MID werehigher, LYM has very significant statistical significance (P﹤0.01), MID has significantstatistical significance (P﹤0.05) and the other indicators have no statistical significance.4 indicators of erythrocyte series9indicators appeared significant difference (P﹤0.01),RDW increased, MCV, MCH, MCHC were lower. The MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW havestatistical significance (P﹤0.01), and the rest have no statistical significance.3.Of the young and middle-aged sub-healthy people group, microcirculation7itemsin a series of13indicators after moxibustion appearred significant difference (P﹤0.01, orP﹤0.05), of which the input branch pipe diameter increased, the flow velocitysignificantly speed up, and the output/input branch pipe diameter, Morphological integral,integral, integral flow around the loop,the total integral were reduced. All the sevendifferences had very significant statistical significance (P﹤0.01) and the rest have nostatistical significance.Conclusions:1.The study shows that moxibustion not only can effectively improvethe function of body’s immune system, strengthen the body’s resistance to disease, butalso promote the blood circulation, reduce blood viscosity, increase the ability of carryingoxygen of blood cells, improve the sub-health state by promoting the production oferythropoietin.2. Studies have found that moxibustion can enhance healing the body’sability todamage and resistance to pathogen invasion, improves theimmunity of middle-aged people,improving the sub-health status.3. After moxibustion, the white blood cell series of young people mainly increasedand leukocyte series reduced. This may be associated with the blood balance adjustment inbody, Comparied with the previous one, there were less changes in middle-aged peoplegroup which shows that the ability to stimulate adjustment of body associated with age.4. After moxibustion, the microvascular of body changed: blood flow improved, thestate of around the loop became clear, blood viscosity reduced, blood flow accelerated,microcirculation perfusion increased. Indicate that moxibustion regulation of sub-healthystate to play aneffective role.
